This movie is bad,

that being said, the story wasn't all bad, the actors and characters were aight (Main ones).

And then there was everything else, it looked fake, it felt fake and even smelled fake. If you had to make this movie with a high school degree in Eastern Europe with the same budget it would have been better.

If you replaced the racist white guy villain with deuce bigalow it would have been better.

Whoever wrote the main character, I hope it is based off of someone you knew, because it was painful o watch you throw away a nice cool lovely character into the dumpster. Make him smart of charismatic at least.

I recently watched "Midas," and it's a pretty cool heist movie with a bit of a Robin Hood vibe. It's about this guy, Ricky, who's just trying to take care of his sick mom. He lands a job at a huge insurance company and quickly realizes how messed up the whole system is.

I mean, they're basically denying people life-saving treatments just to boost their profits. It's messed up. So, Ricky and his friends come up with this crazy plan to steal a bunch of money from the company. It's a long shot, but it's super exciting to watch them try to pull it off.

The best part is that it's not just about the heist. It's also about friendship, family, and doing what's right. You really root for these characters, even though they're breaking the law. It's a fun, fast-paced movie with a heart. If you like heist movies or just want a good time, definitely check it out.

I loved this movie!

I was laughing and nervous from where it was about to drift to next! Literally on the edge of my seat rooting for the three friends not get caught.

It was funny, thrilling and moving all in one, but I really want to highlight the score in this film. The music really is a hidden character in this project as it elevates the film to new heights.

Moments where the stakes are risen, the score instantly increases heightening the feels of the movie. I really can't stress that enough in watching multiple films with a bad score. Love it, love it love it. Can't wait to have another watch party and rewatch Midas all over again, y'all just might need a sequel!

Midas is a total surprise! I wasn't expecting much going in, but this movie is a total blast. It's got a great mix of humor, suspense, and a bit of heart. Laquan Copeland is a total star as Ricky, the charismatic and charming lead. The supporting cast is great too.

The plot is clever and keeps you guessing, and the pace is perfect. It's a fun, fast-paced ride that's easy to get swept up in. I loved the way the movie blends elements of heist, comedy, and drama. It's a fresh take on the genre, and it's clear that the filmmakers had a lot of fun making it.

Seems all the bogus / paid high reviews keep reporting all the honest low ones for deletion. It speaks volumes when the filmmakers don't even have faith in their own production to resort to such blatant tactics trying to trick viewers into watching this nonsense. Writer / director TJ Noel-Sullivan should maybe take the money he's paying for these bogus reviews and put it towards film school. So I suggest y'all keep checking back to make sure yours isn't gone and downvote all the bogus high ones.

Original post: This was laughably bad. A fifth grade drama class could write, produce, direct and act better than this time wasting production. Think of the worst "made for TV" movie you've seen, and this is much worse.

The lead actor was unbelievable and annoying. Then you have an ending that felt like everyone just gave up. It had had no value at all. It was as if the writers got stumped and just quickly wrapped it up with an ending that made no sense. It ends with the main character learning nothing from the experience and goes on through his life as a shady character, constantly trying to convince his friends to risk it all for him.

There were many other details and plot holes that just didn't make sense. It's just sloppy writing and directing, and I'm baffled how they even got the funding to make this nonsense.
