CW entertainment president Brad Schwartz told TVLine that they were "100%" trying to get at least one original Librarians cast member to at least put in a cameo and pass the proverbial baton -- and they ended up securing Christian Kane, who will reprise his role as Jacob Stone in a guest-starring capacity.
Before the show ever premiered, it was announced to be moving networks from the CW to TNT and delaying its premiere from Oct. 24, 2024 until 2025.
This is the third show that Dean Devlin has produced in Serbia. The other two were The Outpost (2018) and The Ark (2023).
