Loteria Loca

I thought this show was going to be a lot of fun. I'm truly disappointed to report that it's just not that good.

The show is filled to the brim with artificial excitement...and it's exhausting to watch. As a former game show producer, I may be too critical of this show, but it looks to me like it's way over produced (audience and contestants are very conditioned to act a certain way rather than relying on authenticity).

Another issue I have is that the games are chock full of reveals, but you don't know what they mean until it's explained. This takes away all suspense, and suspense is the lifeblood of a good game show.

In short, it feels like I'm watching an hour worth of nonsense.

Can't wait for Season TWO because am Loca for Loteria Loca. I loving all the Loca Challenges , I love all the music by my girl Sheila E, and wish I had the host amazing hair. This show is fun, entertaining and I love watching people win money. This show is for all ages, all groups of people and if you love a good time its for you. Loteria Loca is a blast! The vibrant cards, lively music, and fast-paced gameplay make it a hit for game nights. Easy to learn, impossible not to enjoy. A must-have for anyone seeking fun and laughter! Please keep this Loca train going !!! :) Lotterrriiaaaa Looooccccca!!!!!!!!!

I swear, I haven't had this much fun watching a game show ever. Absolutely fun game play, amazing set, dancers, host and Sheila E as the musical director is a plus for me. It is vibrant, energetic and historic as a prime-time Latin inspired game show. I really hope it takes off. We need more fun in entertainment these days, for sure. I even see it getting some Emmy nominations next year in several categories for Game Show, Host, Music Direction, Choreography, Production Design and Technical Direction. This show is pure entertainment and I highly recommend it to anyone. It makes me excited to see where it goes.

The main thing I want to mention, and the most important, this is the first game show I've watched in over 20yrs. I think most of the "new" game shows are full fluff, and not about the game, but about some sad story the player has to tell. I love everything about this show! I wish there were more like it. So unique for America and I think we need it. Something fresh and fun that might teach us a little Spanish as we watch. So I highly recommend giving this show a chance and watch it for the whole time. I have so much fun every night I watch this new show. I sing along, raise my arms yelling "Loteria Loca!" I give it 10 stars!!!
