Hit Team

"Hit Team" is basically everything you could want in a comedy. It has elements of slapstick, dark, rom-com, buddy, etc. Max and Ruthie have been sent from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to do hits. So what I'm saying is that they go to The Entertainment Capital of The World to shoot people who have been placed on a list to be "annihilated" (for use of a better word). The characters on "the list" are really hysterical.

Things go wrong and Max and Ruthie's wacky, singing boss flies to L.A. to kill them. But before this, they are being tracked by some ridiculously funny detectives who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.

This movie is pretty violent, and it will definitely have you laughing - loudly, for the most part. Mark Newton directed this, so you know it's action-packed and fast-paced.

I recommend "Hit Team" to everyone who loves a great comedy that leaves you chuckling for hours - if not days - after watching it.

I recently had the pleasure of viewing the film Hit Team. I must say that to my surprise, this little known movie was a diamond in the rough.

The film follows the journey of two hit men (one woman, one man), on a journey from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to off people on a hit list. The film is full of rich and comedic filled characters from the people on the hit list to the detectives on their trail.

The dialogue is smartly written and the plot moves quickly enough that viewing the film is not a burden. I am a fan of good stories, with fast moving plot actions and Hit Team is certainly that.

I recommend this film for anyone who likes a good action-comedy.

I may be a bit partial on this review because I directed Hit Team. I am good friends with writer, producer, actor, Myles Mclane and all the rest of the cast and crew.

This movie was a blast to make and I think it turned out great. I do have to say Hit Team is not for everyone. It really is a dumb, dark comedy that is very violent. We really didn't realize how violent it was until after the effects and the editing were done.

If you don't want to see people shot and killed even in a comedic way. This movie might not be for you. If you like dumb and dumber and The Interview then you will love Hit Team.

It's a fun fast paced movie with a lot of laughs. It all takes place in L.A. and if you are from here you will have fun recognizing the shoot locations.

I recommend Hit Team to anyone who likes an edgy movie and wants to see upcoming stars. It's guaranteed to make you laugh and is really a fun ride!

This flick is the perfect antidote to any blues you may get from the news. It is a silly, chaotic and deliciously rude good time. Sure, at times you'll be yelling at the screen saying things like "Aw c'mon" or "What the..." but, that's part of its charm. You can tell the stars had as much fun making it as you will watching it. The plot is absurd and there is way too much of what sounds like unnecessary drug induced dialogue. This alone makes you want to keep watching because it just keeps getting crazier and crazier. If you can't allow your belief to be suspended long enough to be hit over the head with unadulterated ridiculousness and love it, switch back to CNN. This film is destined to be a global stoner cult "Hit!" But, the only Oscar they should expect, is Oscar The Grouch.
