Finding Faith

Balancing life is a dilemma familiar to all of us, so in that respect there's something for everyone in the movie. However, this two-year scenario barely scratches the surface on how short events and on-going reality have long-term impact. I hope there are sequels as both the main story and ending should be expanded upon - the latter, whilst seemingly feel-good, actually throws up even more problems! Despite the intense traumas covered, I did spend a lot of the movie thinking the characters had it easy compared to many real people with far more complex and life-altering issues. That said, there's still a lot of amazing content here, and whilst I can't relate to some of the conversational pairings like long talks with a minister, the original, semi-duet montage especially made an impact on me.

Wow! I was expecting the same old thing, but was I surprised. This movie is really good and very moving. It tackled some inspiring and difficult issues, the kind many of us go through in life, and it did it with care and sensitivity. The quality of the movie was great, the acting was great, and the screenplay was well written. I was very impressed, especially coming from Pure Flix. This film is heads and tails up their usual original content. Life is filled with struggles and mistakes and as one of the characters says: "There is no version of life that does not include pain and disappointment." Great job to all involved. Really glad I gave "Finding Faith" a watch. It inspired me in many ways!

Wow, was this movie good. I completely felt every emotion that Victoria was going through. I cried when she cried. Victoria was thrown into a lot of heartbreak. Even at her lowest she was still seeking God to help her. Her struggles in her marriage came out later in the movie and I wasn't expecting it. I think most people of today give up too easily on their marriages and God isn't the center of their union. John Schneider did a great job as Victoria's father. He made mistakes, owned them, and was still centered with God. I think Victoria taking the new job as a faith based advice columnist wasn't necessary. She was doing fine without the "big" column. You're either going to love or hate the faith based moves. For me, this was refreshing from the sometimes shallow movies out there.

Christian content continues to improve. This is a prime example of it. Well acted, emotional, sweet, and a beautiful story about reconnecting. Well worth the watch. The female lead did an amazing job. You could feel her heartache, her worry, and her struggle. She was really wonderful. John Schneider does an amazing job. He manages to successfully come across as a wise old sage, an ornery old cowhand, a loving father, a flawed husband, and a Godly man. Just a really well done movie dealing with life's struggles like we all have. Yet ultimately trusting in God and His plan for each of us. It's a lovely journey about finding faith.

Why do bad things happen to good people? I expected the marriage trouble between Victoria and Billy to be something else. The real reason is pretty well buried until time to reveal. It was a problem many couples face and the casualty rate to their faith is high in general.

This is definitely a faith-based movie, but I think fitting more for those who already are Christian rather than messaging to those who aren't.

I saw Ashley Bratcher in Unplanned about Abby Johnson. I think she did well in that and this. Both of the characters are not your ordinary people.

I fully resonated with Victoria's desire to remain anonymous. Extraordinary advice like seemed to be Victoria's forte comes only from God and no human person should step in front of that. I am still not sure why she even considered going with Samantha's company, not am I completely sure how that turned out.

John Schneider was excellent and his character of John was compelling.
