Slice of life dramas and rom coms are evergreen and quite easy to make since they connect almost universally!
But the director, scriptwriter and editor are so bad, that they missed the 'life" of slice of life ! What we get is a souless piece of boredom for 2 hours that leaves you irritated, perplexed.
This alone would have been fine for a 4 or 5 rating - but the constant cringe dialogues and cliche situations and the utter failure to properly utilize the talents of Indrajith, Vincy etc. Made me give it a 2 stars.

Maarivillin Gopurangal" - A nice, good feel movie!
Pleasantly very good movie, with a superb cast. All the actors have done a splendid job with their effortless acting. The film has a bunch of actors who has done their job perfectly well from the main to the small screen presence roles.
The comic presence of the actors is pretty good. Vincy, Indrajith has done a remarkable job at their comic timing. I really had a good laugh watching the movie.
The story line is pretty good, a perfect, nice, good-feel family movie. You would for sure, not regret spending your 2 hours watching this movie, that's for sure. Perfectly fun packed entertainment movie.
Some songs felt a bit low, on the placement in movie sequence, but picturization was pretty good. Some songs were pretty good. So, I believe this flaw can be ignored, considering the entire pack of entertainment.
I feel you should go and enjoy this movie in theatres. Did not see any interviews or PR activities for the film, which might affect the good rating, the film actually deserves. Sarjano's character Rony & his girlfriend Meenakshi, played by Vincy makes a sudden surprise entry into his brother's carefree family life and we can see how the bonding they develop among themselves complementing and supporting each one's shortcomings.
Arun Bose portrays an ideal family that gives respect to the ideology,principles and values each one upholds in their lives through this movie.
