I remember watching this movie in 2023 and I think this movie is great! New characters, new acting! New things as well. If you seen part 1, it is similar to part 1 because it follows almost the same thing, just with the same whole Krause thing. The transformations are great! It looks really real! The acting is okay, some good acting some not but I still like this movie. There are some differences like this movie is set 30 years after the events of part 1. And there is a young man named Kalo who has healing powers.
I like the fact that this movie has people who has
If you like Krasue movies, I recommend.
The only thing consistent between the two movie parts was the character Noi.
The most unsatisfactory ending and animation I have ever watched. Without a doubt inhuman kiss part 1 was far better than the part 2, in every aspect.
I am not even interested to watch the next part of the series, if they release it.
Generally, this one has enough going for it to be watchable overall. One of the main positives found here is the strong setup that does manage to provide a fine backdrop for their ensuing romance. Since we initially meet the two as kids and get a fine hint of their feelings for each other through the interactions they have, from the initial meet-cute, the idea of learning new talents together, and how they view each other, the eventual meetup as adults allows for a realistic rekindling of emotions. The various dates and other activities they engage in to help solidify what's going on and why they're going to end up together make for a solid romantic date-night tone throughout here. When things get heated about her illness and medical condition, potentially affecting their chances at being happy, these horror-based inclusions are rightfully treated as the obstacle to be overcome in the storyline, bringing them happiness. Gathered from the numerous interactions about how they want nothing more than to be happy and loved for what they are, giving the kind of appropriate look and feel reminiscent of that genre. On top of that, when it wants to, this does have some decent genre moments. With the established illness she has eventually revealed as the Krasue curse, there's some fun to be had when this comes to the forefront. The scenes of her physical transformation are quite gruesome and brutal, changing from her normal self into a white-eyed, fang-lined, tentacle-spouting monstrosity, which goes through an excruciating transformation process to end up as the fabled creature. This is put to good use in the scenes at the cabin where she's being treated to reverse the affliction, which brings about a series of experimental procedures to change her, but also the new creature looking to kill her. Those are eventually turned into full-scale battles with the two creatures, as there is tons of fun to be had with the choreography of the battle taking place in the cabin and surrounding space that also includes the bloody outcomes and hard-hitting scraps. It all comes together with the strong production value and high-quality effects work to be quite enjoyable overall. There are some drawbacks here that hold it down. The main overarching issue is the focus on romance in the first hour, which prevents any outright genre elements from coming to fruition. The whole idea of looking at the relationship between them is what brings them back together, while hoping to learn more about her condition, even if it's not revealed yet. This material is lighthearted and sappy to the point of being appropriate fodder in a generic romantic/comedy with how the interactions are set up, especially with the way she tries to keep her distance to save him. It's the kind of feature that helps to establish the kind of intimacy behind how they get together but also manages to drain all the fear and thrills out of the film to the point of oftentimes failing to resemble a more overt horror film. It's only in the final act that it switches over into this material, and that does have an effect on the first hour, which goes against the style featured here. The other detriment is the lack of context around what type of lore is present. Rather than offer up how the virus spreads regarding how she became a Krasue and what type of intervention the priest is attempting to save her, it blows past everything in one single line of dialogue, never to be referenced again. This leaves everything regarding how the disease initially affected her or if it can truly be transferred with that information given to be so lacking in information, it's easy to miss how that can happen. Even the other creature that shows up to hunt the Krasue is completely foreign and highly curious about what its purpose truly is, how it came to find her, or what the end game for it is, which is somewhat disappointing and continues the whole bit about the lack of story here. It just seems to show up randomly without much context or why the group of game-hunters sent it out to stop her, as they get dropped from the film almost immediately after their introduction, which is a problem with some of the storyline here. These are the drawbacks to the film.
Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Language and Graphic Violence.
