The Fantastic Four: First Steps almost looked very different. The most recent installment in the always-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe has been one of its most anticipated outings for some time now, as audiences all over the world waited excitedly to see Marvel's First Family join the ranks of the MCU. It was a long time coming, but as initial reactions are reinforcing, it was absolutely worth the wait.

Set on another earth in the McU's Multiverse Saga, First Steps gets to function as an origin story (without actually being an origin story) while also having free rein to play with world-ending threats that don't have to tie into the rest of the franchise. And with that, Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm / Invinisble Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm / Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm / The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) get to be the heroes of their own world.

Since the rights to the Fantastic Four reverted back to Marvel in 2019, fans have been eagerly awaiting the introduction of one of Marvel Comics’s most important properties into the MCU. Marvel is taking a bold new direction with its upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps movie by positioning Sue Storm, played by Vanessa Kirby, at the center of the narrative. While earlier adaptations of Sue, like Jessica Alba’s portrayal, were often sidelined, this iteration promises a richer, more nuanced character arc rooted in family dynamics and emotional depth.

As per Producer Grant Curtis, “It’s all about family.” Drawing inspiration from a recent What If…? comic storyline that delves into the family dimension of the Fantastic Four, this revival leans into leadership, vulnerability, and partnership, allowing Sue to evolve beyond the traditional female sidekick into a character with genuine emotional stakes and agency.

Angela Jain has been named head of content, Disney+ Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will join the company in September. Jain joins from ITV Studios, most recently as director of Unscripted, U.K.

The newly created role comes on the heels of Disney’s recent earnings call, where the company emphasized the importance of international markets and its investment in local originals that complement its global slate as key pillars for growing its streaming business. Across Europe, Disney+ will increase its local originals output over the next four years, further expanding the breadth and quality of the content offering.

Jain will lead Disney’s Emea content strategy for original productions on Disney+, including commissioning, production management, business affairs and Disney+ originals’ branded acquisitions. She will report to Eric Schrier, president, Disney Television Studios and Global Original Television Strategy.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been evolving its release strategy over the past few years as it figured out how to expand its Multiverse Saga without oversaturating the market at the same time, ensuring that it can continue moving forward to develop content for many years to come. Sony Marvel movies have also been supplementing the genre with sporadic releases, however limited financial success may prevent Sony from continuing with their separate Marvel universe - especially after the failure of Kraven the Hunter in 2024. “Ginny & Georgia” returned for Season 3 on Netflix with more chaos for the mother-daughter duo, as Georgia faces a murder trial and a lifetime prison sentence.

As such, a moody mash-up of songs accompanies this thrilling batch of episodes. Ginny is navigating her own challenges at school as her peers learn of her mother’s criminal record, while jumping through hoops to connect with her mother.

From the moment we first heard that The Fantastic Four: First Steps...

2025 is packed full of larger-than-life releases. We've already had the likes of Marvel Studios' own Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* while Lilo and Stitch and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning continue to tear up the box office today. The end of the year will bring musical juggernaut Wicked: For Good to screens in what will no doubt be a marquee event too. And then you have the summer, particularly July, which houses some of this year's biggest releases.

In the space of that month, we will have Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps all arriving in movie theaters. I know, I'm so excited too! It's going to be a booming month for the box office, for sure, but could that much competition have a negative impact on any of the movies themselves?

Without a doubt, Marvel Rivals does a great job of exploring the vast Marvel Universe with different skins and items. With the release of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls on January 10th, Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, was added to the game, and since then, NetEase Games has released various skins for the character. Fans of the game recently suggested one more skin for the character, which will certainly introduce many fans to the legendary comic book artist Peach Momoko.

Momoko beautifully combines the Marvel Universe with Japanese folktales, resulting in some unique and exciting skins. Fans have suggested that Momoko’s version of the Invisible Woman must be added to the game.

The chaotic world of Skibidi Toilet is heading to the big screen, with action maestro Michael Bay officially attached to the film adaptation. The first details about the project have been revealed, including who will develop and finance the movie. Known for his explosive blockbusters, Bay's involvement signals a wild cinematic take on the viral internet phenomenon that has taken over YouTube and TikTok.

An official press release has confirmed that Michael Bay has officially begun work on a feature-length adaptation of Skibidi Toilet, with production now underway at the emerging studio Invisible Narratives. The press release arrived three days after Bay shared an AI-generated video teasing the movie. Known for his high-octane visual style from the Transformers films, Bay is set to reimagine the bizarre internet sensation for the big screen following A Minecraft Movie's box office dominance this year.

A Marvel Rivals fan has created a stunning 3D print of one of the game's most popular characters, Invisible Woman, but the attention to detail given her powers is quite ironic. Invisible Woman joined the expansive Marvel Rivals roster at the start of Season 1 as a Strategist character. Invisible Woman's playstyle revolves around her healing and damaging enemies simultaneously, creating healing shields, and popping her ultimate Invisible Boundary to turn whole teams invisible. This 3D print, though, is anything but hidden.

As posted by Nooobishgamers on Reddit, the user has created a 3D print of Invisible Woman, using her Marvel Rivals model as inspiration. The 3D print is predominantly white, but the top is a little bit of a different shade because the model was still wet when the photo was taken, after the creator removed a dissolvable support material and some water got in the structure. The model even features Invisible Woman's in-game pose.

A new report clarifies the status of Ryan Guzman amid rumors of his departure from 9-1-1. The comic will be written as if it comes from the world the Fantastic Four inhabit, the same way the Ant-Man book Look Out for the Little Guy was presented as though it existed in-universe. It will be written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Mark Buckingham, who worked with the movie's production designer Kasra Farahani to get the look and feel right for the iconic Marvel characters.

Last night, we got a slightly different clip with Johnny Storm chastising his brother-in-law and sister for being late. It piqued the interest of fans, and, unsurprisingly, there are now rumblings that a new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is ready to be released.

It will reportedly be 2:30 in length and shows Mister Fantatsic's powers, a first look at the female Silver Surfer, and confirmation that Invisible Woman is pregnant.

Based on this vague description, it will be very much in line with what was revealed to CinemaCon attendees earlier this month. We don't know exactly when the trailer will be released, but...

Marvel Studios recently announced the cast of Avengers: Doomsday by unveiling their on-set chairs with their names printed on the back. None of the actors listed will be making their debut in Avengers: Doomsday. In fact, the only character that is not scheduled to attend any project prior to Doomsday is Doctor Doom himself, played by the original Marvel Cinematic Universe star, Robert Downey Jr.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is still ahead of us, so it is possible Downey Jr. may emerge before Doomsday comes out. All of the other named actors are playing heroes, anti-heroes, or at the very least, a redeemed adversary. If they haven’t yet appeared in Marvel media, they all will by the time Avengers: Doomsday releases on May 1, 2026.

It's a good day to be a 911 fan. The long-running procedural series was just renewed by ABC for its ninth season, meaning that Captain Bobby Nash, Sergeant Athena Grant, and so many more of our beloved favorites will be around to entertain us for another year.

The eighth season of 911 hasn't been smooth sailing for everyone. The incredibly popular procedural returned last fall for its second season on the ABC Network and continued to captivate audiences with adventures so outlandish that only the 911 TV universe could have come up with with them. Marvel Studios took the better part of six hours making their elaborate Avengers: Doomsday casting announcement on Mar. 26. However, when all the names had been revealed on their respective chairs, fans were delighted to see that Paul Rudd would finally be reprising his role as Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man. The MCU alum appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he did comically address his return. However, fans shouldn't get too excited because he remained tight-lipped about any juicy spoilers. No, he didn't discuss whether his on-screen love interest, Hope van Dyne/ the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), or daughter, Cassie (Kathryn Newton), would be a part of Doomsday either. Rudd said:

"I saw that announcement […] There is nothing that I can tell you. They are very secretive. It’s really — it’s important. Clearly, as we know, they never announce anything. This is, you know, it’s a major movie.

9-1-1 is back on a bus, but this time, it's nothing close to what happened in Season 5, Episode 11, "Outside Looking In." In the episode airing on Thursday, April 3, the bus is stationary for the most part. Ironically, another ABC show just did an episode about a bus. In The Rookie Season 7, Episode 11, "Speed," the show paid homage to the 1994 crime thriller Speed. But for 9-1-1, it's a tense hostage situation that becomes worse when what was supposed to be a simple medical intervention trip turns into a hostage situation. "After the 118 responds to several calls from the same person, Hen (Aisha Hinds) steps in to offer them advice. Meanwhile, Eddie (Ryan Guzman) confronts his parents and takes a big step in his relationship with his son," reads the official logline for 9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 13, "Invisible." ABC released a sneak peek, which previews Hen's situation on the bus and how she got there.

As you probably know, the cast for Avengers: Doomsday was announced this Wednesday, March 26, via a nearly six hour long livestream in which names were very slowly revealed. Marvel Studios has slowly begun revealing the main cast for Avengers: Doomsday. Earlier today, the studio launched a live broadcast on social media platform X that has so far revealed one new cast member for the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie every 12 to 15 minutes.

For the broadcast's first 15 minutes, only a director's chair with Chris Hemsworth's name on it was visible. The camera then panned forward to reveal a second chair with Vanessa Kirby's name.
