But no matter, romantic love is one of the most intense and flavourful human experiences. As part of an annual cultural event in autumn, Festive Korea, Hong Kong Arts Centre and Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong co-present The Look of Love: Korean Romance Film Showcase to let you experience the diversity of love with eight films and chat with filmmakers.

Korean cinema is never too far from a horror film release. No sooner has the theatres reopened since the corona virus lockdowns that “Hotel Lake”, a new horror film by first-time director Yoon Eun-kyung is gearing up for a release.

Synopsis

When Yoo-mi searches out her mother’s friend at a hotel to drop off her younger sister, she falls into unexpected mystery and horror.

“Hotel Lake” stars Lee Se-young (“Duck Town”), Park Ji-young (“The Concubine”) and Park Hyo-joo (“The Classified Files”). It releases on April 29th, 2020.
