Saloni Bagga (Tripti Dimri) is a passionate chef who dreams of winning the Meraki star. She falls in love with Akhil Chadha (Vicky Kaushal) and rush to marriage but finds his love for her to be overbearing, affecting her work life and eventually losing the Meraki star as well as her job. They decide to get separated and Saloni moves to Mussoorie for her new job at a restaurant owned by Gurbir Singh Pannu (Ammy Virk). On her wedding anniversary night, a very drunk Saloni spends the night with Gurbir as well as Akhil, resulting in pregnancy. The complication arise through heteropaternal superfecundation, with both the men being the fathers of the twins she is conceiving. What happens next when both the men try to win her over, forms rest of the story.
For a film that is trying to sell itself using the goodwill of Good Newwz, the writing is just not good enough. The phenomenon heteropaternal superfecundation has novelty but apart from the interval scene, there is nothing much for it. The 2nd half is just about the two guys pranking each other in order to win the girl over and these scenes are as routine as they can get. The comedy too is a miss with a few good lines actually getting wasted. There was a Friends reference too and that whole dialogue earns an extra 0.5 rating. Ammy Virk's character suffers from writing and that is also the reason why it remained instantly predictable who gets the girl. I did not spot Gajraj Rao in the film except for his name in the end credits.

Utter nonsense and poorly acted. The akhil Chadha background score was soooooooo annoying. Gave me a headache. Left the movie ten minutes after the intermission. Thre movie had so many absurd meme references, it seemed so juvenille. They did neha dhupia dirty. What was that tarot card reader attire through out the movie. There was barely any coherence or gravitas to the story. Vicky Kaushal's character was a sasta version of Rocky Randhawa from RRKPK.
The movie was so bad in taste that i was compelled to write this ( i have neverr written any review before this) Please save yourr money and skip this disaster.

How Bollywood is surviving-make a sequel of hit movie from past or remake hit movies from Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam, Kannada or any other industry in India or if they don't find something then move to Hollywood or Korea for the so called inspiration or rely on infidelity.
This movies theme is no different and we are watching the movie to find who is the father of the child mixed with some lame jokes and bollywoods favourite subject ROMANCE, without which they can't move a single step ahead. Whatever the story line you got to have romance in it.
Coming back to movie this should have been promoted as Punjabi movie which would have added more value to the movie. Acting wise Tripti Dimri's acting was best in Bulbul and Qala not this one, Vicky Kaushal is also on decline loved his Sardar Udham and his many previous roles and about Ammy Virk hasn't seen much of him and this one doesn't impress as well. Writing is flat, gags are so weak that punches never lands.
Time is now for the actors to say no to these type of storylines and make course correction otherwise more people will keep themselves away from theatre more and more.

"Bad Newz" is a disappointing throwback to the ludicrous, crass comedies of the past, filled with regressive slapstick humor that revolves around sexual references and mocks fidelity, chastity, and marriage. It glorifies a lack of commitment in relationships, ensuring that the morally dubious protagonist comes away unscathed and "clean."
The humor is dry, the acting is over-the-top, and Triptii Dimri's performance is marred by a mindless display of skin. Intimate scenes appear to be included merely for their own sake, rather than contributing to the plot or character development. The songs are forgettable and fail to leave any lasting impression.
Adding to the misery, the film relies heavily on outdated stereotypes and lazy writing. The dialogues are cringe-worthy, with punchlines that fall flat more often than not. The storyline is predictable and lacks any semblance of creativity or originality.
The film's attempt to pass off inappropriate behavior as comedic results in tasteless jokes that border on offensive. Instead of evolving with the times, it clings to a bygone era of humor that should have stayed in the past.
Acting by the other leads is no redemption either. Vicky Kaushal seems to be making wrong choices now.
Overall, this film should be avoided at all costs. However, if this kind of humor appeals to you and you're looking for a bit of sexual stimulation in the theaters, you might find it worth a watch. For everyone else, it's best to steer clear and save your time and money for something more deserving.

What do you do with your film bad to keep your audience hooked?
You add music to EVERY scene. And you know what happens after?
Your movie still remains trash.
What was bad? Wrong question. What was right would be an easier one to answer.
Probably only Vicky Kaushal's performance. No doubt Kaushal, like Ranveer Singh, is few of the many whose work alone can do all the heavy-lifting for the film. Tripti is gorgeous, yes, but ends up playing a cliché generic character for whose dreams you hardly relate to. On a script level, all she does is react to most of the events happening to her. Hardly ever does she act. Very one tone depiction.
The edit was horrendous. As the title says, it feels like this is a reel. Where's the sense of cinema, craft, pacing, rhythm? Is Production Design and Costume the only things catching Dharma's attention these days?
Saving the worst for the last, the Direction is simply bad. Reflect on what disaster you've made Anand ji.
There were many strong laugh moments, granted. But comedy is not just executed through situations. Many desperate attempts were made to induce a chuckle.
And the obsession with Past Bollywood references and Music. Good God let the past be. Pay your Screenwriters and Musicians and Lyricists well, and they will make Gold for you again, as they have done so eloquently in the past.
THINK BEFORE PRODUCTION, please.
