I'm not too familiar with Bruce Banner/The Hulk, I've seen both movies (and yes, I didn't mind them) and know just the basics. The main reason I watched this was because the Avengers Assemble turned out so good that I thought I'd give it a try.
This too was a really good show.
There is no Bruce Banner in this, just all Hulk. It also doesn't seem to be the same Hulk as the one in Avengers Assemble.
I had absolutely no idea that the Red Hulk was General Ross and after a little research even found out that his daughter and Bruce Banners love interest, Betty Ross, eventually is the Red She-Hulk.
In addition to The Hulk and Red Hulk; She-Hulk, A-Bomb and Skaar, are actually a pretty good team, but not without their moments.
Like Avengers Assemble, a lot more can be done in this series than in a movie, there is no more explaining who he is, how he got to be the way he is and it just gets on with the story of the show.
It also included appearances but other Marvel superheroes and villains including Spider-Man, The Thing, The Collector, Doctor Strange and The Guardians of the Galaxy.
While I didn't enjoy it, as much as Avengers Assemble, it still would be something I would watch randomly and even tune into the second season.

I really enjoyed this show when it used to be on the TV. But looking back it wasn't really that good to be honest.
I am going to be honest I actually like all of Disney's Marvel animated shows. But looking back at this I think this is probably the weakest.
The reason why I am giving it a 6 is because at least it's not as bad as Teen Titans Go! but still not the best hulk show I have watched. However the stories are pretty dumb down.
But the voice actors are good.

It's a fun show with diverse characters. It doesn't take itself too seriously and you'll see that for yourself. It's got elements of an older 70's comic cartoon in the beginning with Seth Green's character but then evolves into a better more unique action cartoon that allows you to relate to the characters on a personal level. Whereas most portrayals of Hulk show him as a grunting monster that cannot think and only fights bad guys because he's been trained to by his team of avengers. This cartoon shows hulks fighting with internal conflict along with struggles of his team all while dealing with big time marvel villains. So far it hasn't wasted time with episode after episode of cliffhangers, it gets right to the point and the action and animation looks good for what it needs to be. I give it a 9 because I'm a huge marvel fan and an adult or your kids could enjoy this just the same.
My one critique of this show is that Hulk (being the leader of the team) does act a little .. Motherly sometimes? A lot of people know him as this drooling monster. It gives him human traits without having to turn into Bruce Banner to debate those things as a human.
The show has action, humor, emotion, cameos from big hitter marvel characters and ones that aren't as appreciated in the MCU or surrounding shows they air. I like it and I hope they make a 3rd season!

There are some positive things about this series. The show uses characters and villains which have rarely been seen in other cartoons. The show has more of a story line than the Hulk getting mad and saving the day, and there is just the Intelligent Hulk, which means no "Hulk Smash" every 5 minutes. Aside from that, there are numerous problems with the show. There is no character development or attempt to capture the essence of that character. Just a half hour of catch phrases and pointless battles. Although, hearing Seth Green as Rick Jones is probably the only upside to the show. Aside from that, it's watchable, but not much else.
I liked the character designs and the idea of the show's story, but there are some parts where some characters are too much of goody-two-shoes.
Você sabia?
- CuriosidadesAlthough it's never mentioned in the series, in the comics, Skaar is actually the biological son of Hulk. It remains unclear why this story element was never introduced in this show.
