In the presentation of Atanu Ray Choudhury Sir & production of Dev da, with the direction of Avijit Sen Sir, this film depicts the joy & sorrow, pride & egotism of a father-son relationship. In the warm presence of incomparable beauty of Banaras along with each and every song of the film, it gets a different dimension to every moment of the film. There is no feeling of a little bit of boredom in a single part of this film. The presence of Kharaj Sir and Ambarish Sir fills the film with a lot of hilarious moments. In the last 30 minutes, I really got emotional with the dialogues of Dev da for his father and the most amazing song ' Bhenge dekho amay, Jure dekho amay, Tumi amari amari royecho' sung by Nachiketa Sir.

The perfect and eminent climax of this film teaches us how to love our father, share our feelings with him and equally try to fulfill their wishes. At the end of the day, we can also be a friend of our father and pay respect to their tireless care, with a yell, 'Baba tomake joriye dhorte boddo icche kore, Asole Tumi Amar Hero'.

Really if you are a family person you have to watch it. Without any hit song ,dance melo drama a pure content which touch your heart. You can watch it with your family and lot's of learning from it. Deb da ,Mithun daa awesome to play character. Some comedy in addition with it make it perfect. Mamata sankar also outstanding in character. But ending need to little bit more addition with marriage of deb. All comedy character played their role very good in first half .2 nd half also story of every old mother father at home . Everyone crying at hall me too after long time without any short dress without and boogey boogey dance people attrect with good story. Bengali industry should proud for Deb daa and mithun daa.

Outstretched excessively on the second half with unnecessary drama. Mithun Chakraborty's usual charm started off the film well but then in b/w it lost on its main plot & diverted to something else. Dev's Tonic is better any day compared to this, but the fact to see Mithun again in a Movie Medium, it was something else. Shouldve kept it short following the main storyline in a father's attempt to get his son married off. The intentional attempts to influence upon a emotional scene, it really felt not need, could've been done away with. The overdoing of all this has ruined it but quite happy to see Mithun & Dev's movie get their due success. I'm really aainst TMC's policy of discrimination against other opposition actor/actresses.

As a general viewer, what do you want to see in a good film ? Good acting? Good story? Good songs? Everything is there in Projapati.

Director Avijit Sen has done a good job again after Tonic. The songs of the movie are melodious and perfectly placed. The story of the movie is very nice. It's a family drama, where father - son bonding is the main highlight. And there is a sweet love story between two elderly persons. I congratulate the producers. They strike the right chord.

Acting wise, it is a through and through Mithun Chakraborty movie. What an actor he is ?! By looking at him, you will get the feeling he is hypnotizing the audience. His performance is superlative as a lonely father.

Another commendable performance is done by Mamata Shankar. She plays her part with an ease.

Dev is good as the son but in some scenes, he should be better. Kharaj and Ambarish should get special mention as they both have done a marvelous job. Sweta, Kaninika, Biswanath are good at their parts.

At the end, I must say, You can see the film more than once for one man's performance -Mithun Chakraborty.

Mon Naa Prayojan I am very fond of Bengali Movie not due to VERNACULAR but because of script which connects LIFE.

#Projapati best portrayal by Sri Dev Adhikari who is a celebrated face of commercial / formula movie in Tollywood but JOY CHAKRABORTY exposed an actor OUT OF BOX who earned from BOX OFFICE.

Mithun Daa flawlessly fit as Gour Chakraborty.

In my view this movie will acclaim many National & International recognitions.

I wish producer must dubb the movie in HINDI to reach a mass review.
