Baby Dolls Behind Bars (2012)

If you're looking for the work of Orson Welles then it's best that you don't start here. If you're looking for a fun skin flick then this here is actually one of the best out there. Director Fred Olen Ray thankfully keeps the film fast and fun. The dumb police cadet Sissy (Jazy Berlin) goes undercover in prison to try and bring down a famous jewel thief (Erika Jordan) but soon realizes that she's got something going on with the warden (Christine Nguyen). BABY DOLLS BEHIND BARS is a pretty fun little movie as long as you don't take it too serious. It's funny to think how many skin movies have been made over the past three decades yet the WIP (women in prison) genre hasn't had too many. I thought the director really did a nice job at making sure the film remained fun from start to finish. This gets off to a good start with a pretty silly opening where the police officer "arrests" the burglar but of course it's done in such a campy style that you can't help but laugh. The sex scenes are the main reason people stay up until 2am to watch these and this here offers some extremely good ones. This includes a threesome by the stars of the picture inside the prison. This here is certainly the best thing I've seen from any of the director's softcore pictures as it's actually incredibly erotic and very memorable. The performances, as you'd guess, are all pretty silly and bad but the director gets them in such a way that they are rather fun to watch. Again, if you're looking for some sort of masterpiece then you're really coming to the wrong type of film. This here is certainly going to appeal to fans of these type of skin pictures.
