This is a kind of a sweet movie which lingers on your mind for long. The movie Laptop is basically not for those who yearn for spicy movies or fast paced movies, or thriller movies. Laptop is basically a plain movie which is an amalgamation of four stories connected by a single entity "Laptop". The movie is about how a single material Laptop brings in dramatic changes to the lives of the people in these four stories. The writer beautifully connects the four different stories and never even once did he loose focus on the Laptop. Its like it always was on the center of his mind. The characters in the movie are apt to the story which everyone can connect to.

the four stories are of the driver his wife and the doctor, a blind tenant and his typist, a small hotel owner his family and the doctor's family, a publisher and a Bengali family.

If one is keeping focus on the plots of the stories then chances are that you may be a little disappointing because the story has an abrupt ending which is not justified but then the major focus is on the laptop so if one is focusing on the transition of the laptop in different hands then one can connect with the writer well.
