Keep in mind that this review is coming from an older guy, and this show was clearly made for people 10-15 years younger than me. However, I caught wind of it through my niece, and now I actually enjoy it myself. It's a teen show full of silly high school drama and relationship issues, but the characters are well developed and relatable at least on some level. The young actors are solid. Of course I do wish it was a bit more violent and intense, but it is a kid's show after all.

Enjoyable series, but what happens to their clothes when they transform? Otherwise, nice placement of the supernatural in the normal world of high school. Characters are believable and the special effects subtly done. Plot is interesting enough to keep you engaged.

I honestly LOVED season 1 and season 2 the most!!!! I liked the entire season, but Maddy and Rhydian scenes what made the entire show so good. CAN WE PLEASE GET A NEXT SEASON!!! I mean how cool would it be to have a season 6 with the cast of the first season coming back, and theres kind of a war between humans and Wolfblood. @DebbieMoon can we please get on thisss.

Absolutely LOVED Maddy and Rhydian's relationship through season 1-2. Season 1 and 2 are my absolute favorite ever! I was really sad that Aimee and Bobby left the show. Every little scene between Maddy and Rhydian is one i fell in love with. The way he's always so protective of her and looking after her is the cutest!!! And how she's always there for him too. I cried when she left. :( I would LOVE if they would bring back the main characters for season 6. Kind of like a reunion where they all fly to Canada to look for Maddy again. WOULD LOVE IT TBH!! <3

I really liked this show. It's the only not scary werewolf styled show I've found and is by no means boring (Also there is no real violence). Season one and two are the best, my 100 star favorites. Season 3 is okay, it's like a wrap up for the first two. Then seasons 4 and 5 are a new storyline with some of the same characters. I liked them even though they were a different type of story from the first ones. So now that you know that, what are they about?
Season 1 and 2 follow Maddy, a high school student trying to live a normal life in a small country town while hiding the fact she and her family are wolfbloods. (Not the same as a werewolf. They can change between wolf and human form, but there is no eating people or anything at all like werewolves.) The story kicks off when a new student Rhydian, an orphan wolfblood with human foster parents moves there. From then on it follows Maddy, Rhydian and her two human friends (Tom and Shannon) who don't know about wolfbloods (yet) and all their struggles, troubles and adventures.
Season 3 is a wrap up 1 and 2 and a transition to the next two seasons. It's not as good as the rest, but still interesting enough (and you need it to understand the next two).
Season 4 and 5 are quite a bit different. The story switches (though it has been slowly through season 3) to following Jana, a character who came in, in the second season. Maddy and Rhydian are not in season 4 or 5,for reasons I won't say because it would spoil the story. In spite of that I still liked it, even though Maddy was my favorite character. There are several new characters introduced in season 4. Matei and his younger sister Emilia, both wolfbloods who's parents were killed in a fire. TJ a friend of Jana's and Selina a fellow student just to name a few.
I think the makers did this to keep the story to their audiences age, because all the previous characters had just graduated. 4 and 5 take on a larger scale (higher stakes) and is set mostly in the city.
Besides being a good story, I love how there are so many relatable things in the show. Even though about half the main characters are wolfbloods, their struggles are the same, only amplified because they are half wolf. Overall it's a show I'd recommend to most anyone. Its none scary nature means it okay for tweens and teens alike.
Notes: Two good things to know are, one there is a series called "wolfblood secrets" that goes between season 4 and 5. Also there is a 'secret episode' that fits between season 1 and 2. However the 'secret episode' is better watched after season two because otherwise it ruins some of the mystery in that season.

This series was my favorite until the 2nd season. From then on, I was completely disappointed that the protagonist left, with whom we started the whole adventure, it was a big mistake and that's why I didn't see the seasons 4 and 5.

The writing and direction of this show is wonderful. The production team did a good job of writing a relatively mature plot while still making the show family-friendly. The acting is ok as well, considering the actors' relative inexperience. The only complaint about the production value is the low CGI quality.
However, the show had constant cast changes as the actors of main characters left the show one season after another, and the writers didn't have enough of a warning to properly write them off. I would've given it a 10/10 if the four main characters of the original series didn't quit the show early.

My new favourite show. The whole family loves it. So addictive. Family-friendly, but so much good drama.

Season 1 - 2 were great but I'm so sad when Maddy left season 3. I really liked her character as well as Rhydian.

If you like wolf shows then this is a good one. It is very entertaining if you really get into it. Although there is high school drama and relationships which most like this have. I sure do like this series and wish they were making more seasons but how knows if they might have some more in the future. I will be watching them! This is one of my favorite shows about wolves!!.
