It's about time. We have been watching and hoping for one of the 2023 releases to be good and we have been utterly disappointed...until now. This was a very good movie with a very good plot- and a couple of twists that kept even us guessing right up until the end.
The movie held our attention all the way through and we were as baffled by the twists as Katrina was. Katie Page did an excellent job of playing the two faced mistress and I was stunned when she turned out to be not the person Katrina and I thought she was.
This is a must watch movie, although it would not be good a second time through as all the twists would be known. Watch it!

This aired again last night, and was uniquely riveting. The characters alone, and the portrayal by each actor was enough to carry it, but then it was a great storyline too. Katrina was interesting, and not like all the others I see in Lifetime movies. It did mystify me as to what she saw in Heath to begin with. She didn't let up on Detective Brand, no matter how skeptical he was. Ultimately, their onscreen time together, their conversations were, again, unique. The twists were surprising. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, I did wonder why they never followed up on the murder of the lawyer. I'm assuming he was murdered because he was trying to take care of the "loophole" of the trust passing to her husband if she was proven incapacitated, as Heath was trying to do by telling the detective she was on meds for her mental illness. She obvioulsy wasn't confused after all, and never backed down no matter what Detective Brand said. The ending was great too, I loved it!
Sorry guys, you missed the mark on this one. Slow moving, drawn out scenes due to thin storyline, disjointed, predictable, offensive, and unappealing leads. The only appealing character, a lawyer, was quickly written out of the story. There was one line that was quite offensive. It was spoken by a black character who ran a kayak shop "I am normally loathe to involve the boys in blue, but..." why would she ever be "loathe" to involve cops? Is Lifetime endorsing the belief that cops seek to hurt innocent people? Why would you include a line like that in a Lifetime movie? I'm going to have to take a break from Lifetime after this fail.
Katrinas husband jackob, goes missing during a kayak trip and is pursumed drowned, so when she thinks she sees him the local police wont believe her. I will say parts of these film seemed very unrealistic and predictable. The actress playing katrina was believable. The guy playing the detective was not still a good actor but I did not believe him as a detective. Jackob always seems a bit off but what I dont understand is that the poor lawyers death is never explored as if he was murdered and it added nothing to the plot what so ever. But either way the man with my husbands face has a good plot but just to predicatble but fun to watch.
The Man with My Husband's Face is a quietly gripping thriller that unfolds with just the right balance of suspense and emotional depth. The story follows a woman whose husband disappears during a kayaking trip-presumed drowned. But when she glimpses a man who looks exactly like him, it sets off a slow-burning unraveling of everything she thought she knew.
Koko Marshall is outstanding in the lead role-she brings a grounded intensity to the character, portraying grief, confusion, and determination in a way that feels deeply human. Her emotional range anchors the film, and she makes even the most surreal twists feel believable.
Tom Gipson (credited as Jacob) plays his role with a subtle charm and ambiguity, keeping us guessing at every turn. Katrina Grierson and Katie Page provide excellent support, while Prisca Geddings and Benjamin David Dennis round out the cast with strong, believable performances that add texture to the story.
There's a quiet elegance to the pacing-it doesn't rely on loud jump scares or flashy reveals. Instead, it invites you into a psychological mystery, one that plays out more like a puzzle than a spectacle. It's about grief, identity, trust-and what happens when those things collide.
This film will especially appeal to fans of character-driven mysteries and psychological dramas. With its layered performances and compelling central mystery, The Man with My Husband's Face is a thoughtful and satisfying watch that stays with you long after the credits roll.
