Why Arjun Kapoor?

In simple words, this movie is a mix of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, De de Pyar De and a little bit of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Imagine all that but worse, wayy worse.

In my opinion the only reason why this film is so bad, is Arjun Kapoor. Casting Arjun Kapoor in a film with a very weak climax and average story is not any good.

The trailer cut was very good, specially seeing Mudassir Azeez directing this got me even more excited and don't get me wrong, it does feel like one of his movies but his film's mostly depends on the main actor, in this case the main actor is Arjun Kapoor and he delivers an average performance, which leads the entire film to be a below average watch.

Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar steal the show with their performance, they give those "cat-fight" vibes which is required for this film.

Many characters were wasted like Harsh Gujral, a great comedian in real like but 0 comedy in the movie. Not just him, there is no comedy in the film, all the punch lines can be compiled into a cringe compilation. However some comedy scenes do actually work and successfully get a smile on your face (only like 2 scenes). Also why was Aditya Seal in the film for no reason?

The more stupid part is the story and screenplay, it starts off very slow, and picks up grip as we go, classic Muddasir Azeez style, but the story feels very dragged on for a long time, and the climax is just, stupid.

The climax looks like a failed attempt to make something like Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Pooja entertainment really needs to step up the game with better production quality and choosing better stories, and if not, try casting actors which actually suit the role. Arjun Kapoor was very out of place for a role like this.

If you really loved Pati Patni Aur Woh or De De Pyar De and want to watch something like that but with cringe jokes and a poorly written climax, then sure go for it.

Would go less than 5 stars but would have to give it to Rakul and Bhumi for their amazing performance.

Disasters assemble

This movie has all the ingredients for a perfect disaster a production house which is specialised in making one after another disaster the lead actor lord arjun kapoor who recently gave lowest box office collection with his movie and destroyed cop universe with his epic bad acting , lead actress bhumi the queen of overacting she also gave one after another bad films. Both Arjun and bhoomi tried their best to act bad and destroy this movie. Rakul who used to be very successful in south after she came back to bollywood she gave only one hit de de pyar de other than that her record is as good as her husband as producer. But she tired hard to act sincerely and looks good but she couldn't. Same with shakti kapoor, mukesh rishi ,tiku talsania harsh gujral and other supporting cast they tried hard but arjun bhoomi the weak script and same boring direction by muddasar aziz gave us a perfect boring movie. They have also destroyed another classic song gori hai kalaiyan. How come they picturised a Amitabh Bachchan song on Arjun Kapoor This is an epic disaster and a headache for audience.

they should cast Ranbir Kapoor

Mere Husband Ki Wife - A Complete Disaster

I just watched Mere Husband Ki Wife, and honestly, there is nothing good in this movie. The writing is weak, the screenplay is uninspired, and the dialogues are forgettable. From start to finish, it felt like a dull, forced attempt at a romantic comedy that lacked both romance and comedy.

The biggest issue is the main lead's performance. In a film like this, where the story relies heavily on the charm and energy of its lead actor, it's crucial to have someone who can carry the film. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The acting was so unconvincing that it made an already weak script even worse.

A lot of people compared this film to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and I can see why. The story structure feels like a cheap attempt to replicate that film's success. In Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, they brought in Anubhav Singh Bassi for comic relief, and he delivered some genuinely funny moments. Here, they tried to do the same with Harsh Gujral, but it just didn't work. He had one or two decent lines, but overall, his presence didn't add much. Even the supporting cast, which could have helped lift the film, felt underwhelming. No one stood out, and the chemistry between characters was completely missing.

There was not a single moment in the movie that felt fresh or engaging. The dialogue was poorly written, and the jokes felt forced rather than natural. If I were to fix this movie, I would start by completely changing the casting. In My Version, Ranbir Kapoor would take the lead. He has the charisma and acting chops to bring life to a role like this. With a better actor, even an average script can feel entertaining. But here, everything-story, execution, performances-fell flat.

Another frustrating thing is how Bollywood keeps pushing nepotism-driven casting choices. When you don't cast based on talent, this is the result-a film that no one connects with. It's disappointing to see potential wasted like this.

Overall, Mere Husband Ki Wife is a forgettable film with nothing to offer. It had weak writing, poor execution, and a cast that couldn't bring any life to the story. If Bollywood wants to make good rom-coms, they need to focus on strong storytelling and talented actors rather than relying on the same tired formulas.

Garbage

Felt like a punishment. Some people spend money and time to make such yucky thing. Why do people even cast arjun kapoor. Who are these insane people rating this movie 8-10. Shameless people.

Acting is worst Casting is worst Story is worst I can puke just by seeing this weird thing. Feel pity for the people who paid for big screen to watch this garbage. If I could rate in minus it will get huge negative marking. Two ladies fighting over a disgusting looking guy? Are you even serious? His girlfriend will not want him even.

Producer, Director, Actors everyone related to this film should be banned from any further creation.

Waste of time and stress full to watch

Don't watch the movie i wasted more than 1 hour of my life just can't tolerate the acting of male actor . Rakul did her role good.

But bhoomi also did over acting overall -1star for me..

I went into without huge expectations, but I was still disappointed. The movie feels like one of those projects that was rushed into production without a solid script, proper direction, or any sense of originality. From the beginning, the story felt tired and recycled-a typical triangle of confusion and misunderstanding that we've seen a hundred times before, and done way better in older films.

The plot tries to combine comedy with drama and a hint of suspense, but it ends up being a messy blend of half-baked ideas. The characters are flat and one-dimensional. The husband is the classic confused guy caught between two women, the wife is the stereotypical nagging partner, and the "other" woman is just there to create chaos. It all felt very dated and clichéd.

A Lighthearted and Fun Watch

"Mere Husband Ki Biwi" delivers a light and breezy comedic experience that makes for a fun watch, particularly if you're looking for something undemanding and entertaining. While it might not be a groundbreaking cinematic achievement, the film offers enough laughs and lighthearted moments to warrant a viewing.

Rakul Preet Singh shines in her role, bringing a vibrant energy and charm to the screen. Her performance is a definite highlight, adding a significant dose of appeal to the film. She handles the comedic aspects well and brings a likeable presence that keeps you engaged.

The film's humor is generally light and situational, providing a steady stream of chuckles throughout. The premise, likely revolving around comedic misunderstandings and relationship dynamics, offers ample opportunity for funny scenarios. It's the kind of film that doesn't take itself too seriously and aims primarily to entertain.

While "Mere Husband Ki Biwi" succeeds in being a fun and watchable experience, its 6/10 rating suggests that it might lack a certain depth or originality that would elevate it further. The plot or overall execution might not be particularly innovative or memorable, but it serves its purpose as a lighthearted entertainer.

Overall, if you're in the mood for a fun and easy watch, particularly to see Rakul Preet Singh in a charming role, "Mere Husband Ki Biwi" is a decent option. Just don't expect a deeply complex or groundbreaking story.

Well made.

Arjun is back for classic level this time. Gone are his style of pan Indian romantic consumerism. This time he strikes hard with his real role appealing comedy romance where complex love triangle are at the center and performances taking their pace forward.

Aziz well directed the film, with a lot of potential in the script and bgm just supports the exact comic timing. Despite all this film just wholly cannot appeal to traditional set ups of society but only can refer to to changing world through bits of its characters.

Such characters were even funny in all places but taboos are also being culturally rooted which checks the film content, nevertheless....

Go for one time watch

It's a proper Rom Com Movie -idk why everyone is Criticizing Arjun - he has done a good job - it's a comedy drama movie - what you what him to be - it's a Proper Family Hit - Everyone with their parents can watch - people Criticizing him because he is having a bad time - But in my view it's a good movie for entertainment.

Give a one time watch - you will get entertained. I can name more than 10 movies which doesn't have any logic but getting cinema hit and pretty good reviews too, so why not this which have logic , songs are too good I like the first too songs , Arjun is trying to comeback - don't demotivate.

A Comedy of Errors Gone Wrong

This movie had the potential to be a fun rom-com, but it crashes hard under the weight of poor execution. The only saving grace is the side characters, who are well-cast and manage to deliver decent performances.

Unfortunately, the rest is a mess-overacting by the leads, cringeworthy songs, weak dialogues, and a screenplay that drags the story unnecessarily. The film stretches without purpose, and just when you think it can't get worse, the climax arrives-legendary in all the wrong ways.

To top it off, the attempt to force a social message feels misplaced and heavy-handed. It's likely many viewers won't even make it to the end. A true disaster that could've been avoided.

This Movie is a punishment

I went into Mere Husband Ki Biwi hoping for light-hearted entertainment, but what I got felt more like a test of patience. Within the first 10 minutes, I was bored. By the 15-minute mark, frustration had set in. And around 35 minutes, I gave up entirely.

The storyline is painfully weak, offering no real conflict, character depth, or progression. The humor falls flat almost every time, relying on forced gags that feel outdated and awkward. It seems the director attempted to mask the script's emptiness with an overload of songs - but unfortunately, the music is as uninspired as the plot.

There's a clear lack of direction, pacing, and originality. The film doesn't even qualify as "so bad it's good." It's just bad. Unless you enjoy cinematic self-torture, I'd recommend skipping this one entirely.

Only worth watching is Harsh Gujral cleaned shaved

Pathetic acting. Literally regretting why I watched this.

Rakul as was acting good but Arjun Kapoor was the worst.

Could have been a good movie with a good lead actor other than Arjun. Worst acting ever even for him.

Direction was good and even sings were good but the only thing that sucked was Arjun's acting. Bhoomi was good as expected. And the spice added by Sakhti Kapoor with the BGM was really good and worth for his character.

Fun thing to see was Harsh Gujral cleaned shave and the only thing good.

Would recommend only for fun and timepass also only one time watch you cant bear to watch Arjun's acting twice. Its not good for your health.

Great Movie

Great Movie so far, like the acting by Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi and Rakul, very enjoyable movie and quite a different story, enjoyed every moment, nice plot and good direction and songs are also pretty good..

"The movie was very entertaining, I had a lot of fun. After a long time, I got to watch a fun-loving movie instead of an action thriller, so it was very enjoyable. But I am very disappointed with the ending of the movie because what we watch influences our culture - what we see shapes how we think, and that reflects in our lives. In the movie, the husband doesn't give his wife a second chance, but in real life, that's not always the case. They should have shown that he gives his wife another chance because, somewhere deep down, he still loved her, right? He only connected with the second woman after the first one left his life. Now, when the first wife is asking for a chance, he should have given it to her."
