Olhos Famintos O Regresso

This is dark tale like no other, has been done before, we see a warlock in a dark forest summoning the creeper along with the power of his crows, to ravage again, he awakens and the killing start.

The kills in this movie are really good, even the ones of screen are full of gore, one guy is cutted in half and his remains are left hanging on the ceilling.

It's well directed. Every aspect was executed perfectly, as a fan film is one of the best i´ve ever seen.

The camera shots, the settings, the soundtrack, the makeup, the truck, it´s all there.

Reborn last year was an atrocity, this one put thing right, see it.

It starts with an incredible first 15 minutes that easily misleads one into thinking they are witnessing a truly special horror movie in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre vein. In this tense and exciting opening, with the warlock summoning the creeper, but to this point onwards, the film becomes a mess of clichés, but less capable when putting together a credible script.

Jeepers Creepers Returns definitely had potential, and Constantino is obviously not without some talent behind the camera, but the end result is distinctly average.

The director doesn't use the shaky camera movement or fast cutting to get his effects. He doesn't have to. The tale is chilling enough.

I must say, I was expecting a lot worse from this film. The whole first half is genuinely scary, inside the castle, the catacombs, all of them, liked the scene where he is making his weapons, it feels both a sequel and a prequel.

Second the atmosphere, yes there is gore, but the movie doesn't focus on that, it focuses on tension and suspense.

Third, the characters, they are well acted, well developed,and feel real.

The effects are great, and so is the main villain, the Creeper, this time around we see that he comes from hell, which makes him even more scary, the setting was good, and the pacing was awesome.

The original Jeepers Creepers scared me a lot when it was released, and i´ve seen all of them, so i was eager to see this fan film, and it´s better than the last one and it doesn´t take much to be better, since the beginning of the movie me and my wife looked at each other and said (this is gonna be good) and we were right, the warlock is a creepy guy saying some strange words to rise of the creeper, once he is out of his tomb, we him tracking down humans again, like before.

When you think the movie ends, there´s still room, for a post credits scene, maybe there´s a sequel down the line, one can only hope, after this one.

I watched the movies last night and was amazed by it´s quality, for me it´s the best movie Constantino´s ever did.

The new design of the monster looked great and was more close to the original one.

The truck looks the same, but the engine his better as the truck moves along at an incredible speed, the drone shots of it, are great.

This creature is not really evil, just needs to feed and is an artist, intelligent and talented. That made a good connection with me.

The movie itself is wonderfull, dark and gothic, and the shadows inside the castle, create a wonderfull harmony and feelings on the viewer.

I give an 8 because of my feelings than anything else.
