Three Blind Mice

I like the odd cheap horror movie, but some are just so bad I can't even watch past 10 mins ( canibal cabin ) for one.

Yes the acting is terrible, the cgi is mega drive era and the costumes are not the best. But like I said I have seen worse.

I kept watching to the end because I was intigued and to be fair I found it quit interesting and something different.

Had this have had a bigger budget I think I would have really enjoyed it alot more. The main thing I found that let it down apart from the above mentioned, is the sound effects. Hits and kills have no sound, and it sounded like it was filmed in a warhouse off of a phone. It was tinny and echoed.

But not bad for a budget horror and if you enjoy cheap thrills it's ok.

Not bad, cheesy horror film. The acting was good, and the story was relatable to millions of people. Abigail is a drug addict who is struggling with her addiction. Her family takes her to a cabin in the woods so she can try to fight her troubling habit. Unbeknownst to them there are Three Blind Mice that may put them on the menu. This movie could have been much better with a bigger budget, the effects was cheesy but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of these cheap horror movies will keep you interested, I was rooting for Abigail and her recovery. First time director Pierre B should do a sequel, I would watch it.

No pun intended - not sure if this would have been more "fun" if this actually was just a bad trip - not yours mind you ... anyway, I do know one of the actors. Have seen him at Frightfest a lot ... yet I cannot really rate it higher than that. I might have given it a bonus point anyway ... well point being (no pun intended of course) that it most likely feel like a waste of time for most if not all who decide to watch it.

Not blaming the actors, nor the visual effects people - they can only do so much with little to no money .. this looks cheap is what I am saying. Monsters are ok I reckon ... but really this drags and characters are not really keeping you interested either ...

Three blind mice is one of those movies in the long line of child hood things turned into horror film. And to give it its dues there are certain things that work in this movie. The makeup and prosthetics used on the actors playing the mice was pretty convincing, but the running time being too short meant we could not see the full scale of what they could do. The atmosphere was also done well and having it set in a cabin worked.on the other hand however the acting was just not there and our main girl abigail was just really over the top at times. Still three blind mice is a creature feature that was still entertaing throughout but has too much build up.

When you have no budget for a horror you either pick the in-the-woods genre or the zombie flick. This one obviously picked the first one.

Now about the movie itself I have very few things to elaborate because as the saying goes, if you have nothing good to say, stay quiet.

The monsters here are terrible and they make no sense. They provide no scares, no tension or suspense but sadly, only torture porn. A lot of explicit on screen torture in order to shock, because it just couldn't do more. Very cheap production that relied on never ending screams, dark scenes and very bad characters. Such movies should stop appearing, these aren't the 80s anymore, when people where still experimenting. It just isn't something anyone would like to see.

Can you imagine inviting someone to view this one?

• Hello, would you like to see a horror about three blind rat men that go around killing people in the woods, as graphic as possibe on a micro budget?

Sadly..Three Blind Mice was made. I'm quite furious I got to see this..but someone had to take a bullet for the horror community. The one good thing I can say about it is the fact that it shows the villains from the very first scene and once you lay your eyes on them, you'll know what to expect.

Avoid this. Try movies like Creep 2004, Mimic 1997 or Devil's Pass 2013. Those are fun.
