In Flight

Jo Conran, an air stewardess, is horrified when her son, Sonny, ends up in a prison in Sofia for murder. Jo is placed in a horrendous situation when a merciless drug dealer coerces her into trafficking drugs.

Drama at Channel 4 seems to have almost ceased in recent times; this great show serves as a reminder of what sort of output they're capable of. It's one of the best dramas I've seen this year; it's up there with Reunion.

This had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish; it's relentless, it doesn't let up, and my heart was in my mouth for the vast majority of it.

The story is a terrific one; you're left wondering if Sonny is guilty or not; you'll have that nagging suspicion right through.

The cast is phenomenal; Katherine Kelly is one of my personal favourite actresses; she's terrific, as is the excellent Stuart Martin; he played the role incredibly well.

I just hope it doesn't give people ideas about how to transport drugs around the place.

Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride.

Katherine Kelly never disappoints and she's brilliant here, especially in the early scenes where she is conflicted over what she feels she has to do and her loyalty to her and displays the s so subtly. An enjoyable and at times very tense series though the flipping back and fro flashbacks can be a bit irritating and confusing. The resolution in the final episode is, perhaps inevitably, bit far fetched but gives the result I think most viewers would want. A little hint that the opportunity is there for a further series, which I for one would certainly welcome.

I beg to differ I think it's a brilliant drama gripping and full of suspense. I enjoyed it so much in fact I binge watched it.!!!! I think it's got a good storyline I found the flicking back-and-forth a bit annoying but apart from that it's put together quite well. The acting is good. And is a drama that is well worth watching.

What a great watch well worth watching, Katherine kelly is am amazing actress and she played the part amazingly, honestly loved it.

The first episode was a bit slow but from the second I was kept gripped. Great writing and great filming/acting.

I very rarely review but when I saw 5.9 from others it was almost enough to not watch, glad I did. My wife and I both gave it 8. A very good story that moved along well without being ridiculous, it was plausible and entertaining which is why we watch good thrillers. Well done to the actors. Hope there is a second series. Why the low score, doesn't make sense!
