Abby Richmond (Vanessa Marano) runs her family's inn and restaurant. She gets a new hotshot chef Preston Weaver (Alex Mallari Jr.) from her investor. She is the obsessed manager forced to work with Preston who has all sorts of plans to update her traditional menu.
I don't know where this was shown. It's not quite Hallmark. I've always liked Marano. I don't know where Mallari has been. They need more heat. I thought the heat would come from battling over the menu, but that gets tamp down rather quickly. Bobby Flay has a minor role. There are lots of food although I thought they would do the high-end small portion stuff. This is a little bland.

I suppose, the main problem for me , about this film is represented by Vanessa Marano who is far to be convincing in the role of Abby. A kind of crispation defines her performance who becomes a wood one.
Sure, in essence, the too easy , conventional, supperficial story , more pretext for introduce food and drinks is far to can seduce. But it is a sin of Hallmark films , so, not so awful.
Not last, the absence of chemistry between main actors.
A modest film obvious good intentioned , but difficult to taste it . Consolation - it is just the film for cooking shows fans . And, I suppose, not ignoring the nice work of Alex Mallari Jr. It is just enough for not be real dessapointed seeing it.

One Delicious Christmas (2022) -
While Alex Mallari Jr. In the role of Preston was adorably cute, I wasn't sure that I could put up with Vanessa Marano as the leading lady Abby. She was frustrating to say the least and even her voice was annoying.
He was a new chef trying to bring something fresh to Abby's inn and she was being deliberately obstinate about changing nothing. The usual schtick and, as far as I could see, adding nothing new to the story either.
And I really did try to give this one a chance, I actually started it twice, the first time to see if I would give it a go at all and the second to watch it, but I should have deleted it the first time, because it was just stupid and I couldn't put up with Abby after all.
We all know that they get together in the end and he probably has to compromise and apologise to her after a series of ups and downs. I just couldn't put myself through it for the sake of the cute leading man.
Unscored as Unfinished.

The hook on this dead fish of the movie is that Bobby Flay stars as a food critic. Talk about typecasting. CHOPPED it ain't.
Produced by the Food Network for which Flay is a major star with about 300 series all running at the same time, this tripe (stomach lining of an old cow) is a vanity production if ever there was one. Flay is a total embarrassment.
This one has the usual PC cast of 20-somethings, none of whom can act their way out of a paper bag (let alone a plastic one).
The "plot" has a girl inheriting a restaurant/inn and having to hire a chef to run the kitchen because she wants to keep the family traditions alive even though she's clueless.
Pass the tripe; hold the cheese!

An idyllic destination restaurant gets thrown for a loop when the owner loses her head chef right before Christmas -- their busiest season of the year! Soon, she discovers that a new chef -- and an unexpected romance -- may serve up the best holiday yet....
Even the official blurb can't make this vanity production for Bobby Flay from Food Network sound interesting. Plenty of ham is served up in this white bread production with the usual collection of terrible actors.
Raise your hand if you've ever heard of anyone else in this flaccid story that feels like a high school production out in the barn.
Don't gag on this turkey!

- CuriosidadesOn the poster in the kitchen listing "Top Food Critics", along with the character name for Bobby Flay (Tom Kingsley) are the names Cameron Deveau, Joey Gunn, Slavicka Bernard and Tonie St-Onge. They are all members of the art department , although not necessarily on this project.
