Exclusive: Fresh off the release of The Accountant 2, which grossed over $100 million in theaters before debuting on Prime Video, Zero Gravity founders Eric and Mark Williams are partnering with Stage 32, an online platform for entertainment industry education and networking, to launch a talent incubator focused on emerging screenwriters working in the action and thriller genres.
The producers, who originally found Ozark creator Bill Dubuque through a cold query, will launch their worldwide talent search through Stage 32’s platform, featuring over 1.3 million members. Zero Gravity will personally review semi-finalist loglines and all top 10 finalist scripts, with winners selected based on both creative merit and commercial viability. The selected writers will receive script development and industry mentorship, the goal being to help fast-track production on their scripts. Stage 32 and Zero Gravity will jointly package developed projects for production. Stage 32’s Geoff Faugérolas developed the program and facilitated the collaboration with Zero Gravity.

“No Address” centers its narrative on a young woman suddenly left on her own after life takes an unexpected turn. The film introduces us to a teenager who finds herself without a home, meeting a diverse group of individuals who share similar hardships. This situation sets up a framework where personal challenges intersect with the broader issue of homelessness in America.
The movie aims to balance a thoughtful look at social issues with personal stories of pain and determination. Its tone carries a mix of serious emotion and surprising visual choices. The film offers a rich account of people striving to make sense of their lives amid unforeseen circumstances, even if the approach to storytelling sometimes creates a stir among its viewers.
From a setting point of view, the film makes use of locations in California, though there are moments when the portrayal of the environment seems at odds with the expected conditions.

Unfortunately, some movies are made with seemingly good intentions and just turn out to be really, really bad. Julia Verdin's No Address is one such film, purporting to shed light on the homelessness epidemic. Instead, it falls short with cringe-worthy dialogue, weird artistic choices, and an obvious religious agenda. The movie never unpacks the complexities of homelessness but instead uses its bloated runtime to portray its unhoused protagonists as devoted Christians and also skilled street fighters who overcome their struggles with prayer, a plucky attitude, and a little help from their friends.

“Americans With No Address” director/producer Julia Verdin wanted her documentary to put to rest a common misconception about people who are homeless. “We wanted to show the spectrum of the different types of individuals that ended up on the streets,” she said during a recent conversation with TheWrap’s Joe McGovern. “Because one thing that struck me and one of the reasons why I wanted to make this is that there’s a general perception that everybody on the streets are drug addicts or have mental issues. And that is just not true. There are a lot of regular people on the streets who, just through bad circumstances, [like] not being able to keep up with the rent, have ended up there.”
For the conversation, which followed a virtual showing of the film as part of TheWrap Screening Series, Verdin was joined by “Americans With No Address” narrator William Baldwin and featured talent Xander Berkeley.
