It's a dark comedy but it's a bit too dark for me. I started off laughing and loved how quirky it was, but I did get a bit bored I have to admit. I'd definitely say it's worth watching if you like dark comedies, but if you're not into that kind of thing normally then I wouldn't recommend it. It's not something I'd normally watch. It's different though so I can't score it lower than a 6 as I do like the originality of it and the acting is really good.
Didn't come in expecting much from this movie, but it seemed to be a well executed dark comedy that didn't take itself too seriously and for the most part kept a proper balance with being the right amount of absurd. Not a fan of Danny McBride in general, but he was the proper casting choice for this role.
In order to know how they've hit the nail on the head that's really how the people are here this is a really twisted ass place to live the heat frys people's brains makes them act impulsively
I'm glad I gave this a shot. It's well produced and very well acted. The story is bizarre, but inventive and not impossible. Within its bounds, the plotting and writing is very good, with all the action holding together. That alone is an achievement these days.
A black comedy, exactly as advertised - and a pretty good one too.

I wasn't expecting much going into this movie, but I was ultimately pleased with it overall. Danny McBride is hilarious as the angry kidnapping client, and Rosemarie DeWitt is great as the real estate agent who is kidnapped. If you're a fan of dark humor, give it a chance. There's some hilariously shocking scenes that will have you gasping, which will be followed by a burst of laughter. Watching McBride's character dig himself deeper and deeper into a hole throughout the film was surprisingly entertaining and funny. I gave it a 6/10 because the ending is weak. I don't think I'll ever give it a second watch, but I still enjoyed it overall. All in all it's just a silly, dark comedy thriller worth a watch.

- Erros de gravaçãoWhen returning to Los Compos De Oro with the newly-kidnapped Morgan, the second aerial shot of them on the highway shows Sonny's yellow Hummer driving on the left side of the road (and the random vehicle traveling the opposite direction driving on their left side of the road), as if suddenly driving in the UK for the one camera shot.
