What will the neighbors think? After all what is one to think when the LaFleur household is overseen by, a ghost? Who will believe such a tale? The neighbors make their way to t he LaFleur home not knowing what to expect but too curious not to go.

Bram LaFleur always seems to find himself at the center of some controversy. Whether torn between his Mother, potential girlfriend or sister, Bram is constantly at an internal war. Not that life is any easier for Gardner nor their father Ambrose nor anyone who the else who encounters the LaFleur family.

As the LaFleur family struggles with Vandy's efforts to return to this world, they ponder whether to seek the help of Vandy's rival, Nora Stanhope. Adding to this is the daily pressure of life in this world. As Gardner, Bram and Ambrose continue to face their own demons, they can no longer ignore the growing presence of Vandy.

Not only is she Vandy's former roommate and nemesis she is the former spouse of Ambrose LaFleur, first lover of Bram LaFleur, and godmother to Gardner LaFleur. The battle lines continue to be drawn between Nora, Vandy, and the remaining LaFleur family. With the police focusing on Bram, the neighbors' curiosity and the continual strife over the spell book belonging to Vandy, the situation becomes more tense. Who, if anyone, will win?

As the final showdown draws nearer and nearer the motives of each become clearer and clearer. Who wins if everybody loses? What is Vandy's game? What is happening to Nora? Is Ambrose motives true? Does Gardner really want her mother gone? What is Bram wanting - Mom? Nora? Toula? Trisha? Round and round it goes.
