Bounded by Honor??

My stars are for Terry Stone, Daniel O'Donnell and Sam Gittens. Great acting and some good giggles from their performances. Liked the eternal barmaid Deana, she's an angel. Other female roles all a bit shallow. Michael Head, no, didn't believe his character at all, why Slips? Absolute shame about the script and flimsy storyline. The great twist, when it came, was not any surprise to me and others viewing with me. Dragged on painfully long and was ridiculously sentimental and soppy. F word count was abandoned after 39 in about 20 minutes. Didn't even start with the C one. Any chance of refund please? Feel like was robbed of time i can't get back.

Director tries but Fails

When I first started to watch that movie it had more than 8 points from 10. Now it has less than 5. I know why. Terrible acting, bad cinematography, erratic screenplay and boring editing.

There is something new about telling the story at the end of the movie, but it is a mixture of bad heist movies, with very poor acting. I don´t know what else to say, I warn people: be ware of watching this thing. There is nothing about the title You could expect on it.

I am taking note of the name of the director, and then I am not going to watch anything from him again.

Very very poor movie

3 stars out of 10.

It's not great... Could have been better.

Firstly I was looking forward to this. I'm a fan of most things Terry Stone has been in and he's solid in this.

Emily Wyatt and Sam Gittins were also decent here given the script they were given.

Ricky London (Dapper laughs) was easily the best thing about the film. He carried it to be honest.

The plot, could have worked with a better script and more direction.

I understand Michael Head wrote this, but his casting was a massive mistake. It was terrible watching him in this, it made others around him awkward and made it look like a badly done school play, rather than a film.

Such a shame. 4 stars is favourable here as well, it I was being honest I would probably give it less.

I would say if you like British gangster films and just want something to pass the time, knowing it's not going to be great, then crack on.

If not then give it a wide birth.

Paying for this felt like daylight robbery

I dunno know where to start if I'm honest.

One positive: there's some good acting from Terry Stone and Perry Benson, as always, but Sam Gittins and Daniel O'Reily (Dapper Laughs) really carry the whole thing. If it weren't for Dapper, I'd've turned this off after 10mins. I was surprised at what a great comedy actor he is and there's some real laugh out loud moments, which is quite incredible, considering how shocking bad the script is. All other acting is wooden, disconnected and inauthentic. GCSE drama springs to mind.

But yeah, the script is by far the worst thing about this film. There are so many swear words, it stops being funny and becomes embarrassing. The narrative is difficult to follow at times because there is so much waffle and extraneous information. It's also not clear what era we're in. The attitudes of the men towards women and the existence of East End gangsters indicates it should be 70s, but they wear Trump masks for the robbery... so, this is supposed to be modern day? Weird.

They've also publicised this film as being based on real people, but we don't know who these people are so lord knows why that's relevant. Either way, none of the characters are endearing or admirable. I'm not sure if I was supposed to like these people, be impressed by them, feel sorry for them or loathe them but I'm leaning towards the latter.

Basically, it feels like a load of geezers with some pocket money romanticised what they wish their lives were like if they were hard nut gangsters and this is the result. Don't waste your time or money on it.

ughhhraarrrraarrr

Such witty dialogue... no not really... absolute garbage. The acting is horrible too - terrible actors passing round a baton of poorly delivered, cliched lines.

How long would it take a group of monkeys to write the entire work of Shakespeare? A very long time. However, I think they could probably produce a script for The Last Heist in a couple of hours by flinging excrement at a keyboard.

There is the usual collection of 10/10 reviews, and I'm not surprised - Think The Godfather meets The Dark Knight with a bit of Pulp Fiction sprinkled on top.

There is one part that's real cinematic magic,,,

Don't waste your time

Very poor acting and poor dialogue but with such a poor script it's really not surprising.

Similar to Reservoir Dogs as majority of movie is filmed in one location just a huge shame it's not also Tarantino written and directed.

Also every other word seems to be the C - bomb which there really is no need for.

Only good thing to mention is Daniel O'Reilly who carried the film and kept me watching.

If he wasn't in it I would have turned off after 10minutes and almost did anyway multiple times.

This is definitely a straight to the half price DVD bin in the supermarket film, but would still say don't waste your money.

They still make these?

THE LAST HEIST is the kind of film I thought - and hoped - they'd stopped making a decade or so ago. You know the type, sub-Guy Ritchie fare with diamond geezers trading banter around the mean streets of south London. This one's advertised as a robbery flick with the bad guys wearing Donald Trump masks, but in fact 90% of it is set in a boring bar backdrop where the quartet of male characters swap dialogue and try to be both funny and cool. Sadly, they're not; the script is puerile, the humour forced and unnatural, and the acting straight out of drama school. Perry Benson is one of the familiar faces appearing here, and by this stage in his career, he should really know better.

The real crime was making this movie

The Last Heist squanders whatever potential it had within the first ten minutes. What should have been a tense, stylish thriller ends up being a cliché-riddled, painfully dull mess that plays like a knockoff of far better films.

The dialogue is wooden, the characters are paper-thin, and the plot - if you can call it that - stumbles from one predictable scene to another with all the urgency of a Sunday stroll. The so-called "twists" are telegraphed so far in advance that they land with a whimper, not a bang.

Even the action, which should've been the film's saving grace, is poorly choreographed and badly edited. Performances range from forgettable to outright embarrassing, with most of the cast seeming like they'd rather be anywhere else.

By the time the credits roll, the only thing you'll be stealing is your time back - if you're lucky enough to walk away before the end.

A Great British Crime Film

I watched this on Amazon last night and I've got to say I cannot recommend this film highly enough. It has it all a great story, good characters, good acting and it has got such a great twist in it that you will not expect or see this coming. Its very funny, violent and well acted. I actually felt towards the third act that I was on an emotional rollercoaster ride and I was close to tears at one point. Terry Stone from the Rise of The Footsoldier films absolutely nails the lead role as does Perry Benson & Emily Wyatt in there roles. If you love your British Crime Films this is a must buy and see.

Made me a bit emotional

Quality film, bit different which I liked. A good story line, bit like real life seens that part of every day life. Bit emotional at the end, but I liked the story's each character had to tel, fisherman was quality funny & good banter in places.... Worth a watch I enjoy a good gangster movie. Had it all really in over an hour... London based with local actors. Terry stone is quality.

You could tel it wasn't high money roll in shooting this film but they have made the most of every shot & actor & actress done well. Quality tho all over but cheeses in places.. good fight seen in the club. All good.

Great film & loved the twist

What a great film action from the start, Loved the twist.

With twists in film some can go wrong or right & can be risky but this was a good one & would highly recommend this film to anyone Terry stone Danny O'Reilly & the lads smashed it.

P. S Anymore films in the up coming year or two I'd definitely go watch.

For The story behind this i would be good to do a film now as a before on what life was like for them. As i believe there's 2 films to be made from this one.

The first heist could be the next film. I would & i believe others would like it also.

I just can't wait for the next one lads.

Love this movie

If British crime films and London underworld gangsters is your thing, then you've just hit the jackpot with London Heist as a thriller to watch. Great story with a real twist and a great cast, kept me watching the whole time, beautifully directed by Coz Greenop, nice locations and brilliant one liners, these guys really gel well together and put some great action together in this thriller. I am a gangster and crime lover, so when I say this is one to watch, it really is. Gangsters, deposit boxes, safes, action, and all with a great twist is the best way I can sum it up in a sentence. Please can we have more.

Reservoir Bodge

Mid tier Bri-eesh heist C-film. It's basically a bunch of cockney criminal caricatures reminiscing about their misdeeds and silly adventures, telling their story through flashbacks and conversations at the table. There is an eye-rolling twist that happens too late and does too little.

Uninteresting plot, incoherently edited, poorly acted, and horrendously shot and lit. In the end, The Last Heist is a good first hour, brought down by a final act that has a point to make but goes about it in a very misguided way. It's a reminder that creativity can be a good thing, but it needs to be properly channelled to have the desired effect.

Wow that was different 🌟🌟🌟

Looking at some on the big British names in the cast you could start making assumptions... but DON'T!

Funny, entertaining and exciting with a major twist that will 'twist your melon'

An amazing, unexpected monologue from Terry Stone highlights mental health issues.

Thank you to Michael Head for creating this (that started as a West end play), Dapper Dan O'Reilly for starting the film project (and Crowdfunding) and Terry Stone for using his skill and expertise for the final, amazing finished article.

This has been in the charts on Amazon and iTunes and this isn't a coincidence! I can see Sky or Netflix picking it up for later general viewing.

The best movie in ages

Wow. What a complete banging movie. The actors, producers and everyone else involved behind the scenes should be so proud of their achievements. Absolutely loved this film. What a great story line.dapper laughs acting was something I wasn't expecting. He really managed to break away from his daily stand up comedy which is the best on the internet by a long mile. I am looking forward to seeing what this team produce over the next couple of years and hopefully get the Netflix films they are after and who knows one day the big screen! Congratulations on what was a great movie. I definitely recommend it and gave 10/10.

The Last Heist - Brilliant Film with an equally brilliant cast

This film got me hooked from the beginning , the characters are relateable and we all know someone represented by them be it a relative , friend or someone in our community !The fantastic mix of emotions is also what I loved about this film I laughed and cried in equal measures , the unlikely friendships all bound by one secret . The amount of comedy is just right and this was one of my favourite parts of the film The old Skool gangsta film but with a twist at the end , and the end of this film in my opinion is what makes this film stand out from the rest ! You won't see it coming and it'll take you by surprise ! Brilliant British Film and I can't recommend it enough !

Genius

Great Film, being a female from south london myself, this film had a brilliant ending/twist...the reality that that gangsta life will Come to a short sharp end very quickly for those in that lifestyle.

Great to raise awareness for young males & females that are into Crime.

However the way that the film entails pure banter & genuine dapper laughs (Daniel o'Reilly) comedy / piss taking of Terry stone and other cast completes it for me being a big fan & follower of dapper & his family from day one 😊 can't wait to see the next film and would love to read this as a book. 10/10.

Worth a watch 😊😊😊

A Absolute Thrill Ride From Start To Finish

I have to be honest the trailer didn't really sell it to me but I purchased the Film off PRIME VIDEO and was completely amazed by it all with a cast seen previously in RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: ORIGINS this is completely not related to those films at all in fact as a stand-alone film this was just completely mind blowing from start to finish, great cast, great performances, gripping story telling definitely makes a great British indie film and THE LAST HEIST is a must watch not just for FOOTSOLDIER FANS but for any action thriller fan.

THE LAST HEIST is available to stream now on all Digital Platforms In The UK.

Another top Terry Stone movie

I personally watch everything that Terry Stone is in and yet again I'm not disappointed. This one has some great acting (who would have thought that Dapper Laughs could really act) . This is a British Gangster film with a twist. If you love Football Factory, Rise of the Footsoldier etc you WILL love this too.

Not a single poor performance in this film. Not a stand out performance either. Everyone is equally brilliant . Didn't die off at any point and keeps you gripped until the end.

Can't wait for the next Terry Stone movie. His masterpieces keep getting better and better.

10/10 just for the twist that you have to see.

Easily top 5 UK movies of 2022

Actor Terri Stone strikes again with another energetic smash hit. Set in a classic modern gritty London backdrop, a band of 4 seasoned criminals come together in a tale of friendship and strength of fabric, in an fast paced competition that truly tests the honor amongst thieves. You don't have to be a hang up fan of South London gang movies to appreciate its modern setting, depth of characters and the storyline that was based on a WestEnd play write 'Tyme'.

Directed by Coz Greenop and co-staring Emily Wyatt, Perry Benson and NSMA royalty Daniel O'Reilly (aka Dapper Laughs) in a real edged of the couch thriller that will not disappoint. With plot twists and turns at every stage, you in for a real treat.

I absolutely love this film and would love to see a sequel in the future.

Cracking film with cracking actors

Gangster mob film set in London Town, delivering some good actors doing roles they were born to do and have done so well in the past, I knew I would enjoy it but it took me for surprise.

Really enjoyed the first part Off the film. Especially the actual bank robbery, which I thought delivered perfectly, especially with the flash backs to it building the story plot as it went along. The acting was very good throughout, which some good one liners delivered perfectly, it really does do exactly what it says on the tin. The second half twist was good but very poorly done. But for an easy enjoyable watch look no further. Highly recommend.

British Gangster

Really enjoyed the film and all of the cockney slang and stereotypical London gangster quotes. A great line up of British stars. So good to see Daniel O'Reilly pulling this film together and getting onto the screen just goes to show what hard work and determination can do and how you don't need to conform to what the film industry wants you to do. I really enjoyed how the ending to the dip was pulled together and thought it was imaginative way to end a typical British gangster movie. Great to see all of these actors getting together and using their influence to get the film released let's hope for more of the same.
