The characters were all generally unlikeable but I'm guessing that was the intention. Mia was the character I liked the most. Probably because she was not the spoilt rich kid but she just hung around them to try and be like them. She seemed the most real.
The unhappy swinging couples that were the parents was something I really didn't understand. I'm guessing they were showing that just because people have money it doesn't necessarily make them happy. It was just weird.
While it was set in 1995, and there was elements of the 90s included like Roxette playing in the background and the Saab 9-3 convertible, the fashion/hair styles seemed very modern and didn't really feel 90s.

This series really caught my attention right from the first episode. Good actors, good production, great soundtrack, interesting story and characters but with so much development potential.
They have really succeeded in reflecting the environment from the nineties. The music, the clothes and the rest of the environment. It is an impressive interpretation that is based on real events. However, I missed other perspectives of the story. Therefore, the first season could have been several episodes. Alternatively, the episodes could have been longer than just thirty minutes. But in summary, it's a good series! I really hope there will be another season or more. It's really worth a watch!

I typically do not start watching a new series that are only around 30 minutes per episode but somehow I did with Barracuda Queens and that's ok. The language is dubbed not very well but that's ok as well. It didn't negatively affect my opinion of it because I enjoyed the short easy breezy series. In no time I was finished with it and wishing they would have given us a hour long episode when making it. I am from the states and had never heard anything about the girls but we are similar in age. Maybe that plays a role in why I enjoyed it as much as I did. I can't help but wonder how they all turned out. I hope well!

...got sucked in!
It's not superb, it's not high-class acting overall, but it's fun. Five teenage brats decide to team up to plan a raid to repay the debt they own. The moment it works, they get addicted and decide to do it again, and again, and again.
Although it's not the best acting you might have seen, it's visible that the actors are enjoying it and that all their characters have their own little and bigger problems. It's over the top drama, but the way they present it keeps us viewers watching. The chemistry between our 5 female leads is good and while all their actions can be questioned every few minutes, it's still a nice show to watch.
7/10. The show itself is a 6/10, but Alva Bratt's acting (Louise/Lollo) adds one point. Especially the parts where she plays the psycho is where she shines. Can't wait to see her playing a real villain somewhere.

I feel deeply embarrassed!!! If the first Season 1 could be pleasant and, in its simplicity, even well done, let's say that Season 2 is abominable!!! But who wrote the plot, the author of Beautiful or some Mexican soap opera? Indecent! I refuse to be fooled by these screenwriters and these chicken-catching productions!!! Do they think that the public is all stupid? It's not that the viewers are all teenagers. Unthinkable!!! If Season 1 deserved its good 6, with parts of comedy also pleasant and a basic, real, interesting story, Season 2 deserves a nice 0!!! Let's pretend that I leave the 6, and forget that a Season 2 exists!!!

I went into Barracuda Girls with no expectations, and what I got was an unexpected rollercoaster of humor and cringe-worthy moments that I didn't see coming.
The show features a cast of unbearably mean, self-centered girls who, honestly, could give the characters from Pretty Little Liars a run for their money. And let me be clear: that's both a compliment and an insult. The characters' behavior is as manipulative and petty as it is hilariously exaggerated. At times, you're left wondering whether to laugh or cringe at how outlandish their antics get.
But that's where the charm of the show lies. It's unapologetically over-the-top, and while you might roll your eyes at the characters, you can't help but get sucked into the absurdity of it all.

Very entertaining, comedic story about a gang of mostly spoiled teen girls that decide the law is not for them. It starts with a plot to get out of debt but turns into a quest for adventure and revenge.
This is not your typical teen girl show. It has a dark side with serious questions like sexual harassment, rape and various life problems. Mixed with a criminal yet comedic amateur element. Many interesting characters you both love and dislike at the same time, that makes you wish they had more when time to dive deeper into those characters.
The story is loosely based on true events. Many things have been changed but that is totally fine, and actually makes it more entertaining.
Deserves much better than current score of 5-6.

Really liked it and it's fun for casual viewing.. i hope there's a third season. I'm glad to see lollo again, this series is very exciting and i hope they have a lasting friendship like barracud. All the cast are very good in terms of acting and visuals. Lollo is also very beautiful with her dark hair. She suits both blonde and brown hair. Hopefully there will be a third season later. And good luck to all the cast and crew and others who make this series very good and every episode is heart-pounding. I hope Barracuda will be popular and become a best-selling series. I watched it and followed from season 1.

Barracuda Queens is such a fun and addictive watch - you'll finish it in one sitting. The main characters are all so different in their own ways, and their group dynamic feels real and raw. It's not the typical copy-paste girl gang, and you actually believe their personalities. The way they decide to take matters into their own hands and pull off those reckless heists? Honestly, it's chaotic in the best way - thrilling and entertaining. The side relationships give the show extra layers i love it , and the 90s/early 2000s fashion is gorgeous!!!. The acting is seriously solid too. We need more episodes and longer seasons. 2 seasons wasn't nearly enough! Please give us more.
