Auditions for 'Sex and the City' prequel 'The Carrie Diaries' in L.A and N.Y.

Warner Bros. Television is currently in pre-production on the CW Television Network series "The Carrie Diaries", which is a prequel to "Sex and the City," and will follow the character of Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of High School during the early 1980s and part of her life in New York working as a writer. Several starring roles remain to be cast as well as many smaller speaking roles for teens. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles and New York. A large number of teen extras will also be hired in New York to portray 1980s high school students.

Since it's on the "CW" & not the "HBO"? Definitely, Which means no swearing or nudity, It will just be a story of "Carrie Bradshaw" as a teen struggling to survive in High School. While growing up in the suburbs & trying to make it big in Manhattan with her love of fashion & writing.

It's being announced that it's getting a TV-PG rating. However, several of the episodes have been given a TV-14 rating due to suggestive dialogue and language.
