I has got only 1 star by mos of the unbiased reviews , see the reviews , Watch if you want to sleep in theater and have lot of money to waste please give my money back , and pay for the torture , you should pay me to watch this movie
Before going into the theater,I didn't expect much because the trailer seemed senseless and... since Akshay's previous scores were terrible in Action Replayy,Tees Maar Khan,Patiala House and Thank You,I remained hopeless. But WOW.The movie was more like a surprise. The chemistry between Akshay and John is excellent.Jokes were hilarious. Some flaws in directing.
Concerning music,Pritam builds up a good tempo in 'Make some noise for Desi Boyz' and carries the fun promisingly with Jhak Maar Ke and Tu Mera Hero with an all-together new breed and genre of music.
The whole movie is a laughter pack for everyone and it is one of the best comedies of 2011.
Don't miss this,Highly Recommended !

Stripping for Beginners with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham
A year before "Magic Mike", Bollywood let two of its biggest male stars loose on the enthusiastic world of women. ;-) In this RomCom by Rohit Dhawan we get to know two Indian expats in London who are struggling with the financial crisis after 2008.
Jerry (Akshay Kumar, *1967) moves from job to job and also lovingly looks after his nephew, who the youth welfare office would like to place elsewhere. Nick (John Abraham, *1972) has a job in a suit, but soon finds himself on the streets as a result of the banking crisis and can't marry his girlfriend Radhika (Deepika Padukone, *1986) due to lack of money.
So what can two well-built Indian boys ("DesiBoyz"!) do in such a tricky situation? Sex sells, of course! Under the guidance of Mr. Khalnayak (Sanjay Dutt), the two muscle-bound charm studs become the stars of his escort service as "Rocco and Hunter". This goes well for a while until the rude awakening (i.e. Being discovered) comes. It's a good thing that Jerry meets the beautiful Tanya (Chitrangada Singh) while continuing his studies, and Nick finds an unexpected comrade in her father (very funny: Anupan Kher) when he tries to win Radhika back. All's well that ends well. Mr. Khalnayak can then announce the relocation of his company to Mumbai...
Well, nothing special on the stripper front! Despite a smash hit as the title song ("Make Some Noise for the DesiBoyz"), the film only performed below average in the box office (a meager 2.35 million USD worldwide). There just wasn't enough drama to make the entry into the sex trade of two actually very well-behaved Indian boys understandable.
"The Full Monty" had a lot more drive. ;-)

DESI BOYZ: a good entertainer with a backdrop of financial recession with a mix of emotions,,,,,the first half will make you laugh while the second half is filled with emotions which is good to watch john played his role well while Akshay moved like mercury in his character,,,Deepika is good enough
the negative points of this movie is that it goes back in entertainment at few places the songs are not so good except for the title song and poor background music
Sanjay Dutt plays a good comical role
MY WORD: go for it and refresh yourself

Film's story is totally boring ..But humour at some places makes film time pass.. overall it's one time watch..

- CuriosidadesThe story of Akshay Kumar and his nephew is heavily influenced by the plot of Adam Sandler starrer Big Daddy. The scene in the beginning where he enters Nick Mathur's Birthday bash and the surprise gets wasted is a straight pick up from Big Daddy where Adam is shown to be a irritating slacker just like Akshay's character.
- Erros de gravação(around 1 hour and 35 minutes) Nikhil Mathur finished talking to his ex-girlfriend. He should have walked towards the steps because that is where his guitar and dog were, but he was walking towards a dead end.
