Awareness

My best friend has an Autistic child and for years I watched her go through so many challenges.

This film helps people understand those challenges and the need for more compassion and understanding.

Congratulations to the makers of this film as it brings awareness on a very important topic. I hope this film helps to bringing about more services and help for children and families in India.

Watching the film was interesting and moving. The mother and the children played their parts so well. I was totally engrossed in the film as the mother dealt with all the challenges. It was a story of much courage, love and acceptance.

Must watch movie

A movie which can fill confidence and courage to many parents, autism is just one of the challenge out of many, every child is different and all parents faces challenges in one or other way, so the movie is a kind of eye opener to think beyond our conventional way. Support child according to their abilities and dig a best out of them. Neatly directed, good acting from all, good lyrics, very realistic including climax. Overall a must watch movie.

Worth watching...

The movie is unique, at least in Indian film world, for the topic it deals with and the message it carries. What I liked the most about the movie is the message it conveys - that autism has to faced bravely by the affected families with nonstop encouragement and compassion to the kids. It's a battle and there are no magical cures. With courage, love and encouragement the kids might excel in their own way. The movie is indeed a touching portrayal of one such family. It's so very appropriate that the protagonist in the movie herself is a mom of such a child. She is the soul of the film and has done a wonderful job. The director of the movie has done a commendable job. Cast and crew have all executed their job crisply. In all a worth watching movie. Congrats to the whole team.

Varnapatala is a wonderful film with great message, brings awareness about AUTISM! The show in Mysore was very successful and also when it was screened to special Educators and parents of children with AUTISM, Parents started relating their own problems and challenges in bringing up their special children, film has motivated them to develop much more confidence in their life! I am thankful to the Director and producers for giving me an important role as heroin 's mother and be part of the wonderful team!

Need of the hour - Very well made movie!

Varnapatala beautifully portrays the life of an autistic child from the parents lens. It is highly important for the society to understand the needs of the child and make sure we provide avenues for them to express themselves - most importantly in the way they know and can! The movie wonderfully depicts this and highly recommend to watch.. PS: the movie should not be watched only by parents of autistic children, but by all!
