- Ivo Robotnik: Stone, you were more than a sycophant to me. You were a syco-friend. I'm gonna miss your lattes with steamed Austrian goat milk. I love the way you made them!
- Ivo Robotnik: [gets zapped by licking Sonic's single quill] Let's do this! If I can't rule the world, I might as well save it!
- Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Project Shadow is far beyond anything we've encountered. Shadow's story began a lot like yours, Sonic. But where you found family and friends, Shadow only found pain and loss.
- Ivo Robotnik: [to his computer] Set up defense!
- [the computer sets up a fence]
- Ivo Robotnik: Damn you, autocorrect!
- [Sonic, Tails and Knuckles notices that there is a black and red hedgehog named Shadow]
- Sonic: Whoa! Are you guys seeing this?
- Tails: He looks just like you!
- Knuckles: Impossible!
- Shadow: You're a colourful bunch.
- Sonic: Excuse me, why do you look like me?
- Shadow: I don't look like you, you look like me. Why do you look like me?
- Sonic: Hey, you know what? I'll ask the questions, new hedgehog. Who are you? Why do you look like me?
- Shadow: This is a waste of time. Walk away, before you get hurt.
- Sonic: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy, buddy.
- [pulls out of the handcuffs]
- Sonic: We don't want to fight you.
- Knuckles: Actually, Sonic, I would like to fight.
- Sonic: [pushes Knuckles away] Not now.
- [Knuckles grunts]
- Sonic: Why don't you just stop throwing cars at us for a second, and come down here to talk.
- Shadow: You jumped out of a G.U.N helicopter. There's nothing to talk about.
- Knuckles: All right then, enough!
- [charges to fight Shadow]
- Sonic: Knuckles, no!
- Knuckles: Let us talk with our fist!
- [jumps forward, aiming a fist at Shadow, who turns around. Everything slows down as Shadow swiftly teleports right in front of a surprised Knuckles. Shadow grabs his hand and twists it. Knuckles shouts in pain before Shadow lifts him up and kicks him into the air]
- Gerald Robotnik: Welcome home, my boy.
- Ivo Robotnik: It's impossible.
- Gerald Robotnik: Is it?
- Ivo Robotnik: It couldn't be.
- Gerald Robotnik: Couldn't it?
- Ivo Robotnik: I'm...
- Gerald Robotnik: Are you?
- Ivo Robotnik: [whispering] Pop-Pop?
- Gerald Robotnik: In the saggy flesh.
- [they hug]
- Chao Café Kid: [to Tails] Are you Detective Pikachu?
- Sonic: Yes, he is!
- Knuckles: [laughs] He does look like a Pokémon! Pika Pika!
- Agent Stone: Come on, Shadow. Let's go back to the Crab. I've got fresh avocados; we'll make some guac.
- Shadow: Revenge guac.
- Sonic: [sees that Ivo and Gerald Robotnik] There's two Eggman now?
- Ivo Robotnik: Double your villains, double your fun!
- [after chasing the masked motorcycle man to a pier]
- Sonic: Hold it right there, Tokyo Drift. Who are you?
- [He takes off his helmet to reveal he's Agent Stone]
- Knuckles: [gasping] It's the goat milker!
- Agent Stone: [imitates Knuckles] It's the goat milker! Relax. I'm not here to fight.
- [Sonic, Tails, and knuckles watching as as the mountain/lab is getting destroyed by the mini black hole]
- Sonic: Somebody better call Google Maps!
- [Gerald has produced a giant robot hand]
- Ivo Robotnik: A nano-fist? I haven't seen one of those since I hate-watched Green Lantern in 2011!
- Gerald Robotnik: I was saving it for Comic-Con. But now there won't be a Comic-Con!
- [Flying with Tails, Robotnik comes up from behind Gerald, holding Sonic's quill]
- Ivo Robotnik: Who said life was pointless? Oh, that's right. You did.
- [Robotnik jabs Gerald in the rear with the quill, causing him to fly forward into the Cannon's plasma wall, killing him]
- [after sighting the explosion Shadow caused in Tokyo, Team Sonic skydives out of the G.U.N. helicopter to confront him]
- Sonic: Talk about low budget flights! No food or movies? We're out of here!
- [Sonic, in his super form, has Shadow pinned to the moon and is about to kill him]
- Shadow: Go ahead! Finish it! What are you waiting for? Do it! I'm right here!
- Shadow: The last time I sat beneath stars like this, I was with her. I've felt this pain for so long, it's all I know.
- Sonic: When I lost Longclaw, I felt the same way.
- Shadow: Did your pain eventually go away?
- Sonic: No. But in time, I learned there's something even more powerful than pain. The love we felt for each other. That's what you need to hold onto, Shadow. Maria might be gone, but your love will always remain.
- [the sun rises above Earth and Sonic and Shadow watch in awe]
- Shadow: The light shines even though the star's gone.
- [attention turns to the Eclipse Cannon as Shadow finally sees the error of his ways]
- Shadow: This whole mess is my fault. I've been so blinded by rage, I thought... I had no choice.
- Sonic: [extends his hand to Shadow and reassures him] You always have a choice.
- [Shadow takes his hand and is helped to his feet]
- Sonic: Making the right one is never easy. One more thing I learned is that when you really screw something up, you can't fix it on your own.
- [a touched Shadow smiles and the two hedgehogs transform back into their super forms]
- [in the abandoned GUN facility, Shadow is startled by the appearance of a man in the shadows]
- Shadow: Professor?
- Gerald Robotnik: It's good to see you, Shadow. I knew you'd come home.
- Shadow: I can't get her out of my mind. The pain... it's too much.
- Gerald Robotnik: And that is why we must punish them.
- Shadow: Do you think I'm dangerous?
- Maria: What are you talking about?
- Shadow: The way the scientists look at me, I can tell they're afraid. Like I'm the horrible thing from that movie we watched. I don't know what I am.
- Maria: You're my friend. And you can do or be anything you want. Not because of your powers but because of who you are in here.
- Shadow: [while Sonic and Shadow are fighting in their Super forms] What kind of hero abandons his friends to pursue revenge? Abandons his family?
- Sonic: Don't you *dare* talk about my family.
- Shadow: And here I thought you cared for them. Especially the one... What's his name? Tom?
- [Sonic attacks Shadow]
- Shadow: Professor. Is this really what Maria would've wanted?
- Gerald Robotnik: The question isn't what Maria would've wanted. It's what do they deserve! Remember what she meant to us, remember what they took from us.
