I know its not Oscar worthy.
But if you expect This movie to be different from the other 5. You will be disappointed.
I dont get way peopel see This movie if They dont like the other.
Make no sence to me. And then wright how bad it is.
Sorry if my writing sucks. I am Norwegian with dyslexia. I wanted to wright realy short, but i have to wright Like 600 Words or something.
I was 14 years old when i saw the first one. I loved it. It was new and not like anny other horror movie at the time.
So for me This is nostalgia but also entertainment.
So i can absolutely recommend This one. If you like the other films and take it for What it is.

It over does it on the nostalgia and occasionally frustratingly undermines it own stakes but that can't stop Scream VI from being a really good sequel that's got a killer opening, a truly brutal Ghostface and a constant stream of great set pieces unfolding at a break neck pace.
It doesn't feel that meta, especially in comparison to its predecessor but one of Scream VI's greatest strengths is truly doubling down on the whodunit/r rated Scooby Doo vibe that the series has and is always at its best at when embraced.
The core four (Barrera, Ortega, Gooding and Savoy Brown) are great, their familial bonds and friendship is so believable and their overall likeability makes them so fun to watch, proving they can definitely carry a film without the need to rely on legacy characters.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett had a real knack for set pieces in the last one and they've only gotten better this time around. Each set piece is cleverly set up, inventive and unbearably tense. Particular highlights include a unnerving subway journey and early liquor store shootout.

This movies getting ancient, pre historic. Predictability is like a light house at dark.
Same old same old thing. The GF killer is completely unstoppable terminator and butchering side characters left and right until the final act and whenever fights against main characters, they are like fragile little girls.
Also it started to insult audience intelligence. So every one shocked main female character pushed another girl at the street, but every one is ok that she teased a male at the nuts for no reason. That was insulting even for a female like me. Stop this toxic females privileges. It gives us really bad images and backlashes will be hard to measure one day.
Another one is instead of calling cops, it is ok to drive half to city to save your friend.
The examples are keep going.
So called twist won't be really a twist, just a minor adjustment.
The actors are really bad enough for you to root for the killers to kill these annoying university students.
So writing bad, actors bad. Movie is bad. I cant understand why it has high rates but hey thats the crazy times we live in.

I went to the theater, because I had read the reviews here and they really succeeded to fool me.
I believe that everything this movie needed to become great was only a good ending. Unfortunately, the ending twist was poorly written and as a result of that nothing made any sense throughout the movie. We are all very aware that nothing can top the original, but at least they needed to try a lot better. I won't spoil anything, just think about the ending if it makes any sense to you, as for me it creates plenty of plot holes and I expected something more satisfying instead of what we got.
There is more action this time and the scene with Gale in her apartment was decent. She remainded me of Sarah Connor and Ripley.
Lastly, I don't know why, but this time every character feels like a child of Chuck Norris, or the The Terminator from the first movie when Kyle Reese explained to Sarah that he will not stop ever, until she is dead. Everybody is stabbed, deadly wounded, shot, but no.. the plot compels them to stay alive no matter what.

Easily the best scream movie since the original. In every way (but one - explained soon) it's better than all the sequels. The opening scene is brilliant and the way they did it was scary and intense. The kills were brutal but felt realistic and that these things could actually happen.
The things I loved most about this movie was the intensity and how scary it actually was. I love horror movies and I love scream more than anything but the sequels lacked intensity and being scary. This one up the intensity to 100, the chase scenes were perfect and could be the best of the series, except maybe for Gale in Scream 2.
There's one thing that makes this better than all the sequels and that's the fear you had of not knowing who might die at any point in the movie. In all the other screams you kinda know who will die and who will survive, No one felt safe in this one. Even though it was the longest out of the series, it did not feel like that and honestly could have gone for longer!!
The worst thing about the movie is the last 20 minutes. It might be the worst last 20 minutes of any scream movie (close to the hospital ending of scream 4) but that's just my opinion and I will go watch it another 10 times in cinemas.

After checking the cast of Scream 6 I went to the movies with zero expectations. However, it was worse than expected.
I felt like I was watching a sequel of Scary Movie. Apparently these directors managed to turn Scream into a nonsense joke (the audience laughed during the entire movie).
The cast was terrible. Except for Courteney Cox, everybody deserved to be stabbed numerous times from the very beginning.
The plot was tailored made for teens with no understanding of the horror/suspense genre and was not serious at all. No content, no emotions.
Lastly, I'm happy for Neve Campbell because she was not involved in this awful project.

I basically watched this one to complete the series and I wish I hadn't. It was a waste of my time.
I feel bad for Dermot Mulroney and Hayden Panatere (however you spell her name). They're excellent actors who unfortunately were involved in a crap movie.
I feel like the story lines are a bit unbelievable.
The opening scene with the alley was just plain stupid. It's unbelievable because majority of women know not to do what she did, especially when meeting a man for the first time. Also, there is such thing as Google maps which has the "walking" option. Common sense would have her pin her location and have him find her.
The major issue I have with the violence is how unbelievable it is. Apparently you can be stabbed and have a knife dragged through your abdomen towards your heart and you'll be fine. Apparently you can be stabbed in the back and be fine. This was like a cartoon with how the violence was shown. Like an episode of Family Guy.
I'm not recommending this movie to anyone.

Part 5 felt very forced and generic, this one felt like they actually did something more original. Even though the formula and recipe is the same as part 5, its done sooo much better here. Not really impressed with ghostface, but the kills and story are better than part 5. I don't think a part 7 would be any better than this...unless they do something totally insane and smart. Also this was SO MUCH better than Halloween Ends. I never thought I'd say that. But in every way it was better. SCREAM 6 is very rewatchable. Congrats to their team for actually pulling off a Part 6 and being better than part 5.

I hated it. And it makes me so so sad to see a franchise that I love dearly being connected to a sequel like this. I loved the change of setting-that was a definite plus. The different intro was promising. Sidney's presence not being in the film is almost its own ghostly metaphorical character. Sidney is Scream, and her absence is painful to witness, so much so that you might as well not call this a Scream film. I hated the reveal as well, just a rehashed motive reminiscent of the motive in Scream 2. I LOVE Scream 2, it's my favorite film in the entire franchise, and Mrs Loomis is the best reveal/most underrated killer out of them all, but for the directors to talk about subverting expectations, they did the exact opposite regarding this film's motive. It does feel a bit too long, and I never thought I'd say a longer Scream movie would be a negative. The chase scene/call with Gale was great, though not as epic as the one in Scream 2. Much of the dialogue was cringey, including Gale saying that Sidney "deserves her happy ending." Really?! They made Gale say the most annoying comment used by fans online about whether Sidney should or shouldn't be involved? Ugh. Kirby, who's a character I've never cared for, was so underutilized (she should've been the killer/no survivor has ever been that, and it would've been a way to turn everything on its axis). These directors had the opportunity to create something fresh & great here, but failed.

I honestly have to say that I loved this film ! The main thing that I loved is the whole storyline , it was pretty rich . Every scene adds perfectly one to the other . All the characters are super charismatic. Ghostface is the scariest one until date . I loved how the tension is built on every single attack ! The k*ills are super creative and this is one of those films in the franchise that surprise you every second . I feel like everything that was wrong with scream 5 , was covered with scream 6. The opening kill was extremely creative !! Overall I hope this movie gets a lot of love cause it deserves. A perfect slasher.

Wanted so badly to like this but was disappointed really . Mostly because this and scream 5
Are not scary , 1-4 had some really tense scenes and plenty jumpscares . I didn't get scared once during these last 2 films . They've just replaced them with gore and bloodshed , yes they've
Kept some of the humour and they look more stylised but I challenge anyone to say
They got scared once on these last two films . The original 3 and even 4th one had plenty jumps . Disappointed if they've also killed off Gail she's
Only funny character left .I do hope if they make scream 7 they go back to trying to have the audience on the
Edge of their seat and not a knives out sequel or Agatha Christie whodunnit.

As someone who grew up with the original, I pretty much watch all of these whether I want to or not. I will say this was wasn't as cheesy as the last few have been. It just always cracks me up when a character gets stabbed on their side and in the stomach and don't have to go to the hospital or anything.
The killer was a cool twist. I had guessed it partially but was actually thrown off with the entire reveal of it, so that was cool, and the entire cast was enjoyable.
It's a decent movie, but I do hope they actually stop after this one. The same plot pretty much every movie tends to get a little boring.

I was fortunate to attend an advanced screening of the latest Scream film, Scream 6. It helps when you have a cousin who works in the film industry (haha). We had seen the previous movie in the franchise together upon release and naturally when tickets for the next entry were available, I asked her if I should buy us a pair. However, I was delighted to discover that she was working on securing seats for us at an advanced screening. A short while later, the seats were ours and we headed to Times Square on Friday, March 3rd! Needless to say, we had a blast! Not only was it awesome seeing a film a week in advance but, like the other films of this consistent franchise, Scream 6 was a ton of fun! There was no shortage of blood or gore, but overall a strong movie that delivered on scares that keep you on the edge of your seat and even a few chuckles. I also thought the New York City setting was a nice touch that added a neat aesthetic to the film. The cast performed well in this movie, particularly the four main characters, denoting themselves as the "core four." Jenna Ortega was likely the standout of the group. Gale also contributed to the flow of the narrative in this outing, which was nice because her character was essentially a glorified cameo in the previous film. As shameful as it is that Sidney Prescott could not appear in "Scream 6", the movie does fine without her and to be quite honest, her character would have felt shoehorned in. And last but not least, the addition of Scream 4's Kirby was nice fan service that did not feel forced. Finally, keep a lookout for that opening scene! Goes in a wildly different direction than you'd expect, unlike other Scream films. If I had to find a gripe with the film, I would say the last 20 minutes slow down a bit and I do feel that that some characters were invincible with plot armor. Apart from those small nitpicks, a really enjoyable Scream movie. Solid 8/10 movie.

I just want to start by saying how great it is that this franchise just doesn't have a bad movie. But not only that, to maintain its quality in the sixth instalment is impressive as most other horror franchises have failed miserably with. This simply felt original and fresh which was something its predecessor lacked a little.
The decision to switch it up and move from Woodsboro to New York worked very well. The location being set in a big city makes it feel more unsafe and unsettling. Also referencing Jason takes Manhattan simply by the location was such a "Scream" thing to do.
You could really tell Matt Bettinelli and Tyler Gillet put a lot of effort into the feel of this movie as the set pieces were so intense to watch. Especially the shop scene, you could tell their inspiration was from the Jurassic Park kitchen scene. The ladder set piece was intense as well, although it lacked some logic (who has a ladder in their New York apartment with the perfect length between the two windows).
The development of the core four characters is there and it's great to see them further form their friendships but Samantha's character was the most interesting. The writers continued where they left off with the character dynamic of Billy Loomis as her father. They played with this by making you feel more uneasy and not totally sure about her motives. Also she seems to have replaced Sidney as the face of Scream and it surprisingly works as this film did not miss Sid at all.
However, as with every movie, it isn't perfect. The pacing of the film seemed off as some scenes dragged on a little too long and you could tell this is the longest movie in the franchise. As well as this, because of the shift in tone, this is probably the least funniest and meta Scream movie yet. But having said all that, I still love this movie because it continued the story with originality and gave opportunities for more sequels... or requels.

Scream 6 was terrible!!! Scream 5 was bad enough!!! You have all these people getting stabbed 20 times and a mouth cut open and twisted, but yet they keep surviving and walking like nothing happened!!! There was no surprises at all. This was supposed to be in NYC, but all they showed was the same sets over and over in apartments. You clearly knew who the killers were and it was all new characters just like Scream 5. I can see why Neve Campbell didn't want to do this movie. Just stop this franchise because it's getting worse every year!!! I thought it would be better, but apparently I was wrong!!!

The characters are allll so awful. Especially the girl friend of Tara who's accusing everyone of being the suspect. I like Jenna ortega in general and I think she should've rejected this movie. Just do something else Jenna. And Sam omg I couldn't stand her in scream 5, and in this one I really wanted to strangle her or something. They got Dermot Mulroney probably to keep it interesting but the other actors/actresses acting ughh it's soooo bad I couldn't stand it. It makes me want to do a rewatch of earlier movies of scream. You know, when the movies are still good and the characters are actually endearing. Can we just stop making sequels of the classic with uninteresting characters. Just stop it. It's enough. Don't butcher the classics I'm begging u! First they killed off Dewey and now they pushing all these characters into our faces. Just stop it already. Just make another movies with different titles and different storylines!
