Bro- this show is really good! My husband has been on a Christian kick lately and was asking if there are any children Christian shows. I remember Veggie Tales was- but it's not available in our streaming. So we found Super Book! We love it! The stories are so good- it's even kinda scary at times ,, but I really like that they didn't make it super corny ... my husband and I are learning a lot too. It's been decades since I went to Bible camp/ but this is fun for the family and we are seriously learning a lot of stories we didn't even know about. This and Bluey are our favorite kids shows for sure. We watch it with our son before bed and it is a positive way to end the day for sure .
Every story from the Bible that Superbook tells, has a lesson to be learned and the lesson is applied to real life situations. Superbook keeps all of the kids in my Bible study classes entertained and wanting more. I uses this for kids TK-8th grade.
The start of most Superbook episodes is with Chris, Joy and Gizmo (the robot) and either Chris or Joy has a situation to deal with (making the right choice, helping someone, forgiving someone, etc.). Then Superbook takes them back in time to a part of the Bible that will help them with their situation back home. The kids and Gizmo interact with the people from the Bible and learn so much! The fact that Superbook can cram so much information in such a short time frame is beyond me. During the kids adventure in time, they ask questions and a lot of times Gizmo uses his inner computer to answer the question OR someone from the Bible answers it. After the kids have learned their lesson, Superbook takes them back home at the same time they left and the kids can now make a good decision and take action; for example, sharing their pizza with the less fortunate.
If you buy these DVDs, which I high recommend you do, they each come with a family discussion guide filled with questions, where in the Bible to find the answer, and prayers. I use the discussion guide to help me come up with questions for my middle school aged classes, really get them to think about how what happened in Superbook relates to life.
Overall this is an amazing series and I always look forward to what story they will release next!

Obvious, a great remake. In my case, reminding the memories of early years. But, no doubts, it represents the fair gift for new generations , giving to the meeting with Holy Book force and intensity as pillars for profound useful lessons for understand the real meanings of life , gestures, words and attittudes. Short, just interesting and good option for education, not only religious, of new generations.
All parents, that I know, wish they could say, "We don't give our kids screen time." But we all do from time to time. The key is to make the time intentional and not "mindless".
This show, along with Theo, is faithful to the Scriptures. So many kids' "Christian" shows just teach moralistic fundamentalism, or focus on humanistic teachings about being a good person. This show is biblically accurate, while having engaging, real-world scenarios that kids can relate to.
My daughter and I watch an episode every morning during breakfast and we talk about the Bible story... what we learned about God, what we learned about man, and how we can apply it to our life. Parents, just be purposeful in your use of media. Engage your children for Christ. Someone will teach your kids about life. It should be you!

I am so thankful for this show. The kids love it and they are learning so much about the Gospel. I definitely recommend it!
