HBO Wins Bidding War for ‘Fort Bragg Cartel’ Book to Develop as Series
Image
A story of drug dealing and murder at the home base of special forces operatives sounds like a tailor-made logline for a series. Which it will be, after HBO won a bidding war over multiple other outlets for rights to a recently published nonfiction book.

The premium outlet has landed rights to author Seth Harp’s book The Fort Bragg Cartel: Drug Trafficking and Murder in the Special Forces. HBO plans to develop a series based on the book, with Harp and former HBO Films president Len Amato (via his company Crash & Salvage) executive producing. A search for a writer/showrunner to adapt the material is underway.

Published by Viking on Aug. 12, The Fort Bragg Cartel is set to debut at No. 2 on the combined print/ebook New York Times bestseller list, and No. 5 among hardcover sales, this weekend. Excerpts have appeared in Rolling Stone, where Harp is a contributing editor.

The golden touch: Chloë Sevigny, Javier Bardem, or Cooper Koch could become 14th actor to win an Emmy for a Ryan Murphy series
Image
Want to win an Emmy? Work with Ryan Murphy.

In 2023, Niecy Nash-Betts became the 13th performer from a Murphy production to win an Emmy Award. Her compassionate performance as Glenda Cleveland, the neighbor of notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer (Evan Peters) in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, wowed voters and secured Nash-Betts her first Primetime Emmy; she also has a Daytime Emmy for producing Clean House.

This year, Chloë Sevigny, Javier Bardem, and Cooper Koch are all nominated for their roles on Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Sevigny and Bardem portray Kitty Menendez and José Menendez, parents who were murdered by their sons, Erik (Koch) and Lyle (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), at their Beverly Hills home in 1989.

The Netflix limited series is produced and cowritten by Murphy, which begs the question: Can Sevigny, Bardem, or Koch continue Murphy's lucky streak at the Emmys and become his 14th winning actor?...

Darren Criss Scores Third Straight Tony for ‘Glee’ Stars but Will ‘Chess’ Make It Four?
Image
Glee makes it three straight at the Tonys.

When Darren Criss picked up a Tony Award on Sunday night for best performance by an actor in a leading role in a musical for his turn in Maybe Happy Ending, the veteran star became the third straight Glee alum to win a trophy on Broadway’s biggest night. He followed hot on the heels of Jonathan Groff, who won his first Tony last year for Merrily We Roll Along (and he was nominated this year in the same category as Criss for Just in Time), and Alex Newell, who won best featured actor in a musical for Shucked in 2023.

3 Movies That Will Make You Forgive Jim Parsons for Leaving The Big Bang Theory
Image
Jim Parsons became the heart and soul of The Big Bang Theory with his compelling performance as Sheldon Cooper, so much so that the show had to be shut down once the actor decided to leave the role behind. His departure, which ultimately led to the show’s cancellation after 12 seasons, left many fans disappointed and even resentful.

However, while his exit may have been painful for fans, Parsons has continued to deliver powerful performances in television and film. The following three movies might just prove that leaving the sitcom was ultimately the right move.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Jim Parsons had already appeared in several notable films even before leaving The Big Bang Theory, including The Normal Heart, A Kid Like Jake, and Hidden Figures. In each of these films, Parsons made a strong impression, even in a supporting role.

Will Mid-Century Modern be laughing all the way to the 2025 Emmys?

Gold Derby has confirmed that the Hulu comedy is submitting six different actors for its freshman season.

Nathan Lane, who plays Bunny Schneiderman — a successful bra designer who invites his pals to spend their golden years living with him in Palm Springs — will be submitted in Best Comedy Actor. Lane is an eight-time Emmy nominee who picked up his first win in 2022 for his guest appearance on Only Murders in the Building.

Eat Your Heart Out, Willy Wonka — A Hershey's Chocolate Movie Is in the Works
Image
The story of America's most famous chocolatier is coming to the big screen. Variety reports that the life story of candy tycoon Milton Hershey is being molded into a new biopic. Finn Wittrock is set to star as Hershey, while Alexandra Daddario will play his wife, Kitty. The movie will be released in 2026.

Mark Waters, the veteran helmer behind Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, is set to direct Hershey, which will center around the love story between Milton and Kitty, as well as their extensive charitable efforts. The two were married in 1898, just as Hershey was perfecting the mass production of milk chocolate, leading to the creation of the iconic Hershey bar. Unfortunately, however, their romance was cut short in 1915, when Kitty died of a nervous system disorder at age 43: Milton lived another thirty years and never remarried, carrying a photo of her with him for the rest of his life.

4 Ryan Murphy shows to watch and 3 to definitely skip
Image
As you start to look through the list of Ryan Murphy shows, you’ll find that there are way more than you initially thought. He’s the man behind Glee, Scream Queens, American Horror Story, and so much more. There’s simply no way that you can watch everything in a short space of time, and there are some shows just not as good as others.

How do you know if something is worth watching or skipping, though? After all, something can seem great from the premise, but then you get into two episodes and realize that it’s just not what was promised. The good news is I’ve watched the majority of his shows now, and I can tell you the ones that just don’t quite hit the mark. I have the four that you definitely want to watch, and the three that are just worth skipping.

Matt Bomer on How ‘Mid-Century Modern’ Pays Tribute to Linda Lavin and Working with ‘Icons’ Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham
Image
The new Hulu series “Mid-Century Modern” was pitched as the “gay Golden Girls,” according to creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.

The 10-episode comedy launches on March 28, and the cast and crew uniformly herald it as a revival of classic sitcoms like Mutchnick and Kohan’s previous hit “Will & Grace” or “Alice,” the long-running show starring the late Linda Lavin, who they recruited for the new series.

However, “Mid-Century Modern,” is a bit racier than its predecessors.

“Because of the people at Hulu, we have been allowed to push the boundary. This is a show that now sounds a little bit more like we all sound,” Mutchnick said during a Q&a with the cast at the series premiere event, held at the DGA Theater in L.A. on Tuesday. “No one has to say ‘boink’ when they want to fuck.”

Kevin Bacon returns from the dead to hunt demonic criminals in the trailer for Amazon’s The Bondsman, which dropped on Tuesday.

In Bondsman, Bacon plays Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter whose second chance at life has him trying to recapture escaped demons in Hell after being resurrected by the Devil. “If you fail to process any demons assigned to you, you will be terminated,” Jolene Purdy, who plays Midge and who recruited Halloran to go demon-hunting in Hell, warns at one point in the trailer (below).

Hulu's highly anticipated Matt Bomer sitcom is coming sooner than we thought
Image
Have you been missing Matt Bomer on your screen? Well, we're about to get a whole lot more of him when his highly anticipated Hulu sitcom Mid-Century Modern makes its premiere in March 2025. Even though the actor has been known for his drama work, most recently earning an Emmy Award nomination for his work in Showtime's limited series Fellow Travelers, he's prepared to bring the laughs as the lead of a multi-cam sitcom for the first time.

Mid-Century Modern premieres on Friday, March 28 on Hulu. That's much sooner than I imagined Hulu would drop the show! While the premiere's coming up very soon, the release date news gets even better. Hulu isn't releasing the 10-episode season weekly, instead opting for a binge drop. It's great to hear that Hulu learned from its mistake of weekly drops of sitcoms, which killed the momentum of How I Met Your Father, and will...

Mark Ruffalo Gave Us One of Most Powerful Performances in This Heartbreaking, Must-See HBO Drama Movie
Image
Despite playing a superhero in one of the highest-grossing franchises of all-time, Mark Ruffalo is still an actor who has not earned as many accolades as he deserves. Ruffalo may have four Best Supporting Actor nominations at the Academy Awards on his resume, but for the most part he seems to take on interesting roles in ensemble projects. This does not mean that Ruffalo does not have enough confidence in his own ability to play a protagonist, but that he’s passionate about telling complex stories that represent a significant number of people. Ruffalo delivered a devastating performance in HBO’s adaptation of the classic stage play The Normal Heart, which has been hailed as one of the greatest works of art ever made about the AIDS crisis and its impact on the Lgbtqia community.

Julia Roberts Originally Rejected One Of Her Best Roles
Image
Ryan Murphy may be in the news these days for his bad Menéndez brothers fanfic, but a decade ago, the filmmaker had just dropped one of the best and most acclaimed works of his career. "The Normal Heart," an HBO film based on the semi-autobiographical 1985 Larry Kramer play, won two Emmys, two Critics Choice Awards, and the Humanitas Prize. They were accolades the film deserved. As a portrait of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and both those who survived it and those who didn't, "The Normal Heart" was moving, political, and original in its take on a much-discussed time period.

It was also a true actor's showcase, led by Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, and Mark Ruffalo with a scene-stealing, fiery performance from Julia Roberts. Except, Roberts almost didn't take the role. In an interview with HBO from the time, she admitted that she turned down the part of Dr. Emma Brookner...

Ryan Murphy TV Shows, Ranked
Image
When he’s not winning Emmys, Ryan Murphy makes headlines for two reasons — and we’ve got examples of each in September 2024.

With Netflix’s “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” the consistently controversial showrunner is once again battling backlash for exploring dark psychosexual themes through outrageous camp. And with FX’s horror mystery “Grotesquerie,” guest-starring the NFL’s Travis Kelce among others, the writer-director-producer is showing off his famous network by casting major celebrity talent next to his repeat collaborators.

As a craftsman, Murphy often leaves something to be desired. Look back at IndieWire reviews for his past six or so shows and you’ll notice a pattern. Splashy styling, regularly mixed with a shock-value premise, injects life into a vibrant ad campaign that draws real attention. Sometimes the show debuts to strong effect, other times not — but problems almost always ravage the back half of a Murphy project.

'We Had an Obligation as Storytellers': Ryan Murphy Defends Monsters and Fans Are Livid
Image
Filmmaker Ryan Murphy has been behind many critically acclaimed films and TV shows, including The Normal Heart, Glee, and American Horror Story. In 2022, he released Dahmer, a true-crime limited series following the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Thanks to its popularity, the limited series expanded into a true-crime anthology, with Season 2 following the Menendez brothers in The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

Both seasons have received mixed reactions from the critics and were surrounded by controversies. Netflix initially received criticism after marking Dahmer with an LGBTQ tag, and the families of Dahmer's victims also spoke against the series, accusing Netflix of profiting from their traumatic experiences and romanticizing Dahmer. Season 2 follows the story of the Menendez brothers who killed their parents after a traumatic childhood, and Erik Menendez recently called out Monsters and Ryan Murphy for the inaccuracies in the series. Murphy just responded to Menendez's words in an interview with...

Fremantle Merges U.S. and Europe Scripted Operations Under Christian Vesper; Dante Di Loreto Moves to Producer Deal (Exclusive)
Image
Fremantle is moving its North America scripted business under Christian Vesper, the CEO of global drama and film, who will now up all drama and film operations for Fremantle across both the U.S. and Europe.

As part of the shift, Dante Di Loreto — who served as Fremantle’s North America president of scripted entertainment since 2017 and helped built the banner’s drama slate (including the award-winning Showtime series “Fellow Travelers”) — will transition to a producer deal with Fremantle.

Fremantle’s North America scripted business and labels will now report directly to Vesper, who will continue to report to Andrea Scrosati, Group COO and CEO Continental Europe.

The executive shuffle reflects an ongoing restructuring of Fremantle’s global business. In the U.K., the group recently laid off all the staff at drama producer Euston Films and documentary label Undeniable. The labels have not yet been technically shuttered, despite having no staff.

“You realize you’ll never make it as an actor?”: One Avengers Star Was Told He Would Amount to Nothing Only to Win 3 Oscar Nominations and Beat Hugh Jackman at the Emmys
Image
Mark Ruffalo has had a string of successes in recent years, including his Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actor for his dual role as identical twins in I Know This Much Is True (2020). He also received critical acclaim for his performances in various films, like Poor Things (2023).

But the Avengers actor didn’t always have it so easy; in his early days as an actor, he too faced criticism and backlash. One piece of feedback was particularly harsh and stated he couldn’t be an accomplished actor. But with hard work and consistent efforts Ruffalo proved that statement was wrong, as he surpassed even Hugh Jackman to take home his Emmy.

Jim Parsons Left The Big Bang Theory For Three Main Reasons
Image
In 2019, "The Big Bang Theory" ended after twelve seasons and as many years — an ending that was largely determined by the show's star, Jim Parsons. So why did Parsons decide to leave Sheldon Cooper and his enormous collection of superhero tees behind? There was just a whole lot going on in his personal life at the time.

Parsons spoke to former "Doctor Who" star David Tennant on the latter's podcast in August of 2020 and revealed that he had a feeling that, when he signed a contract for two years following the show's tenth anniversary, that he would conclude his run as Sheldon then. "Our final contract was for the last two years, but no one knew when we signed it what that would mean. I kind of had a suspicion in my heart that that was going to be it for me when I did sign that contract, but you...

Jim Parsons is one of the most talented people in the entertainment industry. And playing Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory has only cemented his place in Hollywood. But other than Tbbt, the actor has been part of many other successful projects, like The Normal Heart (2014), Hollywood (2020), The Boys in the Band (2020), etc.

SEEWill Matt Bomer (‘Fellow Travelers’) be redeemed at the Emmys 10 years after shocking loss for ‘The Normal Heart’?

Robert Downey Jr., fresh off his Oscar win for “Oppenheimer,” was considered the man to beat for tackling multiple roles in HBO’s “The Sympathizer.” But then the TV academy unveiled the official list, and Downey was the only nomination for “The Sympathizer,” suggesting limited support for the limited series. So as soon as we opened our predictions for the Emmy winners, he dropped down to third place with 6/1 odds, though four of our Top 24 Users and four of our...

‘Fellow Travelers’ Star Matt Bomer On The Growing Representation Of Gay Actors On TV And ‘White Collar’ Reboot Script: “It Pays Tribute And Homage To Willie Garson In A Way That I Was Happy With”
Image
Actor and executive producer Matt Bomer has earned his second Emmy nomination, this time for his role as the lovelorn State Department official Hawk Fuller on Showtime’s Fellow Travelers.

Created by Ron Nyswaner, based on Thomas Mallon’s novel, Fellow Travelers is a love story and political thriller, chronicling the clandestine romance of two very different men who meet in the shadow of McCarthy-era Washington. Bomer plays Fuller, a man with a successful career in politics who generally avoids emotional entanglements — until he meets the idealistic Tim Laughlin (Jonathan Bailey). The two begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants,” initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history. Over the course of four decades, we follow the pair as they cross paths through the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fueled disco hedonism of the 1970s...

Will Matt Bomer (‘Fellow Travelers’) be redeemed at the Emmys 10 years after shocking loss for ‘The Normal Heart’?
Image
Matt Bomer earned his first Emmy nomination 10 years ago for his supporting role in the HBO telefilm “The Normal Heart.” He played AIDS-afflicted Felix Turner, a role that had previously won John Benjamin Hickey a Tony Award on Broadway. Bomer was the overwhelming favorite to win his race, but he was upset by Martin Freeman for playing Dr. Watson in “Sherlock: His Last Vow.” However, Bomer is back this year in another project that addresses queer history in the United States, “Fellow Travelers.” Will he win this time?

Bomer stars in “Travelers” as Hawkins Fuller, a State Department official hiding his homosexuality, from the Pink Scare that purged queer people from government during the Cold War to the AIDS crisis of the 1980s. The performance earned Bomer nominations from the Critics Choice Awards, the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and he won a Peabody Award as a producer of the limited series.

‘All the Light We Cannot See’ could finally win Hugh Laurie that elusive Emmy
Image
Hugh Laurie has never won an Emmy. That seems like an egregious oversight on behalf of TV academy voters, considering the British actor starred as one of the best TV characters of this century in “House.” Still, 10 nominations (we’ll get to those later) and zero wins.

He could finally break that losing streak with Netflix’s “All the Light We Cannot See.” Adapted from Anthony Doerr‘s 2014 novel of the same name, written by Steven Knight, and directed by Shawn Levy, this miniseries depicts the lives of two teenagers during WWII — one a blind French girl and the other a German boy forced to fight for the Nazi regime. Laurie features as Uncle Étienne, a reclusive, agoraphobic WWI veteran suffering from Ptsd. Laurie has always been a classy performer and he again brings a lot of heart, warmth, and intelligence here to this role, as noted by several critics.

Nine actors who lost 2024 Oscars are now vying for Emmys
Image
In September 2021, Olivia Colman bagged her first career Emmy for “The Crown” despite having failed on her Oscar bid for “The Father” five months earlier. This made her the 16th performer to triumph at the Emmys after going home empty-handed at the same year’s Oscars and the fourth to do so during the 21st century. The release of the 2024 Emmy nominations ballots confirmed that nine of the 16 actors who lost at the latest Oscars ceremony are capable of joining Colman on said list.

Gold Derby’s current Emmy odds indicate that the man and woman with the best hopes of following in Colman’s footsteps are Ryan Gosling and Jodie Foster, who just earned their respective third and fifth Academy Award notices for their supporting turns in “Barbie” and “Nyad.” They are now generally expected to share in the experience of being first-time acting Emmy nominees thanks to his...

Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane to Star in Hulu Comedy From Ryan Murphy, ‘Will & Grace’ Creators
Image
The creators of Will & Grace and Ryan Murphy are teaming for a Hulu project — which is already attracting a top-flight cast.

The Disney-owned streamer has ordered a pilot for a multi-camera comedy titled Mid-Century Modern, written by Will & Grace’s David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane and Linda Lavin are set to star in the show, which reads as something of a gender-swapped take on The Golden Girls. Murphy is an executive producer, and James Burrows is set to direct.

The logline: “The series follows three best friends — gay gentlemen of a certain age — who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother and a naked Gen Z housekeeper. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it...

Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane to Star in ‘Golden Girls’-Like Hulu Sitcom From Ryan Murphy and ‘Will & Grace’ Creators (Exclusive)
Matt Bomer
It’s not “The Golden Girls,” but get ready for a new, even gayer roommate sitcom.

I can exclusively report that Matt Bomer and Nathan Lane are set to star in “Mid-Century Modern,” a multi-cam series for Hulu executive produced by Ryan Murphy and created by “Will & Grace’s” Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.

Sources reveal that Bomer will take on the ditzy Rose-like character, played by Betty White in the original “Golden Girls,” with Lane taking on the Dorothy (Bea Arthur) of the bunch. Linda Lavin will play Lane’s mother, a la the original Sophia.

The new series will be set in gay mecca of Palm Springs. James Burrows is directing the pilot.

Bomer’s recent credits include “Fellow Travelers” and “Maestro.” He frequently works with Murphy, who directed him to a Golden Globe win for his work in the AIDS drama “The Normal Heart.” Lane, a veteran of television,...

Matt Bomer Claims Being Outed Cost Him The Role Of Superman
Image
Showrunner Ryan Murphy has a type when it comes to casting, and that type is guys who look like Superman. It's no surprise, then, that the new Superman will be played by David Corenswet, alum of Murphy's shows "Hollywood" and "The Politician." Yet Corenswet isn't the first Murphy favorite to come close to the role of Clark Kent. In the mid-2000s, Matt Bomer had a three-picture deal with Warner Bros. to be the new Man of Steel.

Speaking on the Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, Bomer was asked by host Scott Feinberg whether he could confirm or correct a rumor that he left the soap opera "Guiding Light" because of an opportunity for a certain major movie role. Bomer replied that this was "partly right," elaborating:

"Basically I went in on a cattle call [audition] for Superman, and then it turned into a four-month audition experience where I was...

Award-Winning Actor Says He Lost 3-Movie Superman Role In Canceled DC Project After Being Outed As Gay
Image
Matt Bomer has stated he lost a DC trilogy contract for a Superman movie due to his sexuality. Bomer's diverse acting history shows he has been successful in his career. With the Elseworlds concept in play, there is a possibility for Bomer to portray Superman in the coming years.

Matt Bomer has stated he lost his DC trilogy contract for a scrapped Superman movie because of his sexuality. While DC Comics' presence has been reimagined numerous times in the world of live-action, Superman is one of the few characters to have been depicted the most on the big screen. As several actors have played Superman in live-action over the last few decades, there have also been a number of stars who were close to playing the Man of Steel but, for various reasons, didn't get to in the end.

One of the actors who could have been Superman was White Collar star Matt Bomer,...

‘Awards Chatter’ Pod: Matt Bomer on ‘Fellow Travelers,’ Being a Gay Leading Man in Hollywood and Rebooting ‘White Collar’
Image
Matt Bomer, the guest on this episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, is a talented and dashing actor and producer. Bomer made his name on the USA drama series White Collar (2009-2014) and in films such as 2012’s Magic Mike. He later won Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards and was nominated for an Emmy for his turn in the 2014 HBO movie adaptation of Larry Kramer’s play The Normal Heart. Most recently, he has garnered some of the best reviews of his career for his portrayal of a closeted State Dept. employee in a decades-spanning secret relationship with another man on the 2023 Showtime limited series Fellow Travelers, for which he has already won a Peabody Award and been nominated for Golden Globe, SAG, Critics Choice and People’s Choice awards.

Over the course of this episode, the 46-year-old reflects on his own journey as a gay...

‘Feud: Capote vs the Swans’ will continue Emmy-winning ways of the franchise
Image
“Feud: Bette and Joan” took the Emmys by storm in 2017, with the first season of the Ryan Murphy anthology show receiving rave reviews for its depiction of the rivalry between actresses Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange).

Season two will hope to match that Emmy success (more on that later) with its portrayal of Truman Capote (Tom Hollander) and his falling out with a group of New York high society socialites known as the Swans. Capote wrote a fictionalized account of the Swans’ dramatic lives, leading to the Swans vowing revenge for betraying their confidence.

The glossy show is typically gorgeous, scandalous, and theatrical while the performances are all top-drawer. Hollander dazzles in the lead role as Capote, which is no mean feat considering the late, great Philip Seymour-Hoffman won the Best Actor Oscar for his turn as Capote in 2005’s “Capote”). Meanwhile, Naomi Watts, Diane Lane,...

‘Red, White and Royal Blue’ cultural relevance and optimism will romance Emmy voters
Image
The Emmy category for Best TV Movie has had a renaissance in recent years, with more high profile projects being exclusive to the medium. In this golden TV era, the level of talent on screen and behind the camera is at an all-time high – showcased best by the level of competition here and Best Limited Series. Once so niche that they were a single combined category at the Emmys, the fields seem to get stronger and stronger every year. As a result, the list of this season’s potential TV movie nominees is incredible. Leading the pack (for me) is Amazon Prime Video’s “Red, White & Royal Blue.”

An adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s New York Times bestselling novel, the film depicts the rivalry and courtship between Henry (Nicholas Galitzine), a prince of England’s royal family, and Alex (Taylor Zakar Perez), the son of an American presidential candidate.

Hey, Eddie Marsan: Playing John Adams is a great way to win an Emmy
Image
Michael Douglas is in terrific form as Benjamin Franklin in Apple TV’s new historical limited series “Franklin” but he isn’t the only actor to emerge with awards whispers whizzing through the air. Veteran actor Eddie Marsan features in a key supporting role as John Adams and delivers one of the finest performances of his career while also shining a new light onto a man that many actors have depicted before.

The limited series follows Franklin’s eight years in France as he tried to persuade King Louis XVI (Tom Pezier) to join the colonies’ cause and aid them in the American Revolutionary War. The scenes between Douglas and Marsan are nothing short of spectacular and Marsan nails his performance as Adams, as noted by critics.

Clint Worthington (Roger Ebert) noted: “Marsan’s energy as Adams is decidedly different from Paul Giamatti’s in Ellis’ original 2008 miniseries—“Franklin” feels...

“Never gonna happen”: Jim Parsons’ Husband Has Very Little Faith in the Actor After Rumors Surfaced About Being Married to Rihanna
Image
Jim Parsons has starred in several other movies and shows over the years, but his most notable work continues to be The Big Bang Theory even after so many years since the last season aired. This is perhaps because his involvement with the series never ended as he serves as the narrator and producer on the spin-off series Young Sheldon.

In a recent interview in which he discussed his appearance in the finale of the series, he addressed a rumor that suggests he was married to singer Rihanna. In the process of debunking the theory, he said something that makes one wonder if his husband doubts his capability of dating someone like Rihanna.
