Amor por Acaso

Not good, not dreadful . Bad editing and performances to a storyline with promise. Still watched and in a strange way , enjoyed. Two main characters did not hit it off on screen but both were not bad. Still worth a view if not paying for it. The problem is the editing and the beginning in two languages. It makes it disjointed .belief is most important in any movie. This does not have it. It has all the components but not the glue to join it up. It's a pity because I wanted to smile, laugh and wish the main characters well in the adventure.the backdrop was right. The mobiles seemed to work but the camera failed to deliver.

A lovely movie with fun characters. A feel good movie. Dean Cain is always good in whatever he is in. Watched it a couple times over the years.

Queued it up in Tubi, because it sounded like it might be like Hallmark's All of my Heart with Lacey Chabet and Brennan Elliott.

It was NOTHING like that movie, especially the acting.

Bed & Breakfast....bad acting and really bad presentation.

I go to movies to watch them, not read them.

Giving this older and under appreciated film some love in part for its amazing soundtrack. It's worth watching this film just for that. Unironically one of the best film soundtracks I've ever heard. The songs are all listed here on IMDb so no worries looking them up. I spent half the film constantly commenting about this to my wife.

As far as the film itself goes...better than the five stars it has here. It's funny and unexpectedly satirical. The leads have chemistry. The plot itself isn't that cringey. Everyone is likable. Frankly this film is much better than most current films in the genre who claim to be comedies yet are void of comedy.

This film is about 90 minutes, which is pretty typical for the genre, but the leads don't share a scene until the 30 minute mark. It was a nice enough film, but some plot elements seemed to be thrown in at the last second in a way that didn't add to the story.

Also, heads up, parts of the movie take place in Brazil and the characters speak Portuguese, so there are some subtitles.
