Simple and kind

Watched it yesterday and it was wonderful little movie. The story is simple and has a heart. Some good humour, Cheburashka was very cute (was surprised how well graphics were considering that this is not American production ) . But as an adult I really liked Gena's character and his story moved my heart to tears (and every other adult in the theatre) . I don't know if teenagers or people in their 20's would enjoy it as much as kids and people in their 30's and older but I strongly recommend it. I think movie did quite well at the box office and they plan to make a sequel and Im glad to hear it. I would like so see Cheburashka and Gena again. Good job :) And also I've noticed that a lot of people gave this movie 1 as their rating but I doubt these people actually saw the movie and perhaps they have alterior motives for rating movie so low....

The movie gives no screen credits to Eduard Uspenskiy the original creator of Cheburashka and the stories around it, as well as to Leonid Shvartsman, the animator of the original Cheburashka-movies who designed the famous image of Cheburshka (which was also used in this movie).
