Credit to David Platts and his dedication to his work

Most insightful documentary/ film my partner and I have watched this year. 100% recommend watching.

Hats off to David Platts for his dedication to recreating the English deerhound and the achievements he has made. Amazing work!

Very interesting and I'll be watching a second time!

I have been recommended this film by a friend and I was certainly drawn in after watching the trailer.

I am not particularly a dog lover, however I am fascinated with the old English way of life. Mr Platts heritage was very interesting and the achievement in his breeding programme is truly incredible!

Its brilliantly narrated too and I will have to re watch as there is a lot of information in the film. I would certainly recommend to others!

Decades of Dedication

Superb insight into David Platts lifetimes work and achievement to re-establish the English Deerhound. Endorsed by no other than Colonel Dave Hancock. Thoroughly enjoyable, highly recommend. David's vision and strive to achieve his goal is inspiring and something to admire. A must watch.

A highly informative and masterfully crafted documentary

Had the pleasure of watching the premiere of this and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

The passion from David Platt and his work in recreating the English deerhound shines through and is matched only by the passion for story telling and filmmaking from Newmount Films.

Even when watching with little background knowledge into this area, I was instantly taken down the rabbit hole of rich history that left me wanting to learn more.

Would highly recommend taking the time to watch this and I'm looking forward to seeing what's to come in the future!

Great achievement

Well done David, just watched the documentary, really did enjoy it a must for any deerhound owner and anybody else with a sight hound. It was a honour to have met you a and Jackie when we picked up our English deerhound in 2019, Nellie will be 3 this July and have got to say she always pulls a crowd.

I do hope you do go on to that 25 generation and maybe produce another documentary.
