Feryad the best film about Nagorno-Karabakh war and Khojaly genocide. The Khojaly massacre, also known as the Khojaly genocide, was the mass murder[ of at least 161 ethnic Azerbaijani civilians from the town of Khojaly on 26 February 1992. According to the Memorial Human Rights Center, Human Rights Watch and other international observers, the massacre was committed by the ethnic Armenian armed forces. The death of 613 civilians, including 106 women and 63 children. The event became the largest massacre in the course of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

A very realistic film that describes the pain of the Azerbaijani people

It is so sad that the leading actor had a heart attack &passed away right after the movie was released. It was terrible and cruel what Armenians made Azerbaijani people live through. Movie is very impressive

This film was based on true history. It happend in 26 february 1992 year.

It is one of the most important Azerbaijani films. I watched the moviewhen i was a kid and it was shocking for me. The acting is top notch. For years, I thought Melik Dadashov (Armen) was an Armenian, he had a great acting. A very important movie for an Azerbaijani.

The movie is about an Azerbaijani PoW of 1992, where you can see his emotions and thoughts for unfair war against Azerbaijan by Armenia and separatists. At the same time, the hero can keep his human face and shows decent action, which surprised his enemies a lot. He replies about their surprise saying "I do not wish to be in my situation even to my enemies". However, he was always dreaming about a cavalier in white, on a white horse fighting his enemies.

In short, we can say that the story is built on moralism, calling to avoid war-time utilitarian behavior because the justice will come soon or later.

P. S. Färyad was shot based on the the real story of Mehman Huseynov (passed away in 2015). The movie was shot during the 1992-1994 war, and the hero of the movie (Jeyhun Mirzayev) died right after the end of filming. Azerbaijani regions stayed under Armenian occupation from 1994. The second war was 2020 and finished with Azerbaijani victory.

So much pain. I couldn't watch some scenes because of severe atrocities. How can a human be so inhuman to others? Perpetrators of this bloody genocide must be sentenced to death penalty.armenians are not humans

You can even find worse events that took place in Khojaly Genocide. This night was the collapse of humanity.

Falsify information. Azerbaijan is the aggressor. Staring war ethics cleansing of peaceful Armenians

Imaginary stuff. Not even close to reality. More so, the exact thing to what Azerbaijan did to Armenian people.
