Guardians of the Galaxy vet Karen Gillan discussed what it was like reuniting with director Mike Flanagan in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Life of Chuck short story.
After a decade since first working together on 2013’s supernatural horror film Oculus, Gillan had finally set up her next project with Flanagan, after joining the cast of the upcoming The Life of Chuck movie last October 2023. During a recent interview with Collider, the Marvel actor opened up about her reunion with the horror filmmaker, whom she praises for being the same "brilliant" director she’s known him to be. "You know what, it didn’t feel that different. I was going into it like, 'Ok, how has he changed? He’s done so many movies.' [It] felt the same! We were back in Alabama like we’d never left," she said.
