Inga Naan Thaan Kingu

I recently watched this so-called comedy movie that completely missed the mark. This is not a comedy movie that would make you laugh. Instead, it's filled with lame, dull, unfunny, and dry jokes that fall flat and fail to elicit any real humor. The attempts at comedy come across as forced and provocative, lacking the wit and charm necessary to engage the audience. Overall, this movie is a disappointment for anyone seeking genuine laughs and enjoyable humor. Save your time and skip this one. It is truly a waste of time and effort, and I regret watching it. If you want to get a headache, do watch it.

It needs to be said upfront that this movie isn't and never can be as bad as some of Santhanam's previous movies - namely "Kick", which to this day is one of the worst excuses for a movie I've ever watched. But that's not to excuse whatever they tried to do here. Structured like a comedy of errors, the movie never really finds its voice and ends up being a half-baked-everything movie. The comedy is either too bland or too annoying to be effective, and the screenplay which is to their credit, consistent, just doesn't have the X-factor needed to pull off this particular concept. You're not really missing out on anything here, so just ignore this movie and go about your day!

Never laughed so much heartily in a long time. Here Santhanam and his team did a superb job. Dialogues were totally hilarious. One had to be alert not to miss the humor-filled dialogues, throughout the movie. It is like Crazy Mohan kind of dialogues for Kamal Haasan movies. Such jokes are sprinkled all through the movie. On example -- "sir, body uyiroda irundhaa paravaa illaiyaa?" Jokes are not easy. Timing and delivery is key. Comedy films are hard work.

In this movie, Santhanam exceeded my expectations. Genuinely upset with his wife since he feels deceived by the family. It is pretty difficult to act like a dead body. So many scenes involving the dead body. Big compliments to Vivek Prasanna. Thambi Ramiah - loved his performance. The heroine and the other ladies in this movie give a strong punch on the jokes. For example, when the nurses say that this style of short skirts is common in America or when the old lady comes to collect her loan through a collateral lamp. Kudos to the whole team. Only towards the end, my wife and I felt a bit of a drag. Anyway, it was a hearty laughter in a long time. Compliments to the director and the stars for an enjoyable family-oriented movie.
