Amityville Thanksgiving

Given the rather limited but growing holiday horror niche of Thanksgiving, I've been eyeing this on and off over the years. Should have just washed it down the drain instead. I only finished so I could accurately say it does not get better, at all. My friends and I could have easily done something better in high school. I'll give 1 star for uh, making something, and I guess another because I somehow made it thru. There is no humor horror or anything to wet your appetite here. Just garbage waste of time. Please spare yourself. The turkey movie cover is misleading as never user and suggests a quality that is definitely nowhere to be found.

A horrible couple decide they need marriage counselling because hubby is arrogant does nothing but go to Atlantic City to gamble. The wife is horny and needy.... the weird counsellor is horny too and is really touchy feely with the horny wife. He suggests they stay at his cabin and bang each other silly. The cabin puts Amityville in the mountains in this iteration (which is irritating because if people are going to make fake Amityville films, at least put it on the south shore of Long Island where it actually is). Everyone in the film sounds like a bit player from "The Sopranos". This was so bad it made "Amityville Witches" look like "Citizen Kane".

This is my favourite guilt pleasure. Will Collazo and Julie Anne Prescott brings you Amityville Thanksgiving. An original horror film with twists and turns that keeps things fresh and interesting. Loved the performances from the lead actors and I hear there's now a sequel! Amityville Turkey Day! Mark C Fullhardt knocks it straight out of the park as the very sinister couples therapist Frank Demonico (speedy recovery Mark) There isn't much to do with the actual Amityville house so if you're a huge fan then this might be a disappointment to you. This is a film that should be studied in film schools.

Another dismal film from the Amityville series. This time, a demented possibly demonic couples counselor tricks couples to stay in his haunted Amityville cabin so he can eat their flesh, or so I gather because the film certainly doesn't show that happening or anything happening for that matter. The movie is a hodgepodge of low-budget, low-effort film and odd little video clips of characters talking endlessly, especially at the end. There is a lot of whittling of sticks, which is by far the most fascinating part. I suggest avoiding this one.

It's not even good enough to be on Tubi, this turkey can't fly.

This was a mess and full of that newsreel footage that is all generous donators receiving cameo appearance. Yall gotta stop offering that perk. If you get the money together but 20 minutes of your movie is filler from fulfilling fundraiser gifts, and they're usually reading from a script, are you really realizing your vision? Come on y'all. Find something else to offer, throw some fun merch or something ANYTHING else.

This looks like about a $500 budget and $480 went to the admittedly neat final scene practical effects. Good luck to Collazo's team if they're going to keep doing this. Not recommended.
