Japanese Drama "Kieta Hatsukoi" is a story of a series of misunderstandings.
The drama starts on a cute note and continues that lighthearted, sweet atmosphere till the very ending. The main lead is adorable, too boot, with plenty of lovely moments that he executed brilliantly. The love story was equally adorable and the main couple had great dynamics, which helped a lot. The second couple was enjoyable too, but had a messy process. And, admirably, the first part of the drama was better than the second one, which was pleasing, yes, but started to slow things down a little.
Finally, the performances were great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, 7 out of 10.

When the "grand daddy" (Japan) of BL stories flexes its muscles, it just tramps everything in its path. This is so good, its like eating my favorite cake and ice cream all at the same time. Its not over the top, its not overly acted, the storyline is easy to appreciate but it does make you excited on what is going to happen next, its cohesive, its just so delectably freakingly gooddddddd. What i also like about the series is the familiar faces i've seen on other BL films especially Shirasu, i will always love "Life - Love On The Line". This series brought me feelings from "We Best Love" and "Light On Me". Lovveeee it!!!! I hope they get to have a Season 2 with original casts of course. Thank you.
I was so thrilled with My Love Mix Up.
Aoki and Ida stole the show. Hashimoto and Aida were a treat to watch.
Even the small roles were memorable. Like Ida's mother. The class president and vice president. Even the homophobic student teacher/Aoki's tutor.
This BL series told a story in which two seemingly straight men fall for one another because of a simple mistake and two great guys in Ida and Aoki.
Another one worth watching and re-watching.
Not much in the way of intimacy or kissing and such but still incredible and very funny at times. Great Acting. Great Story.

My Love Mix-Up is a BL drama about high schoolers in the throes of first love. I was invested the two love stories and laughed so hard in the process. It's lovely the writes and director chose the comedic route.
(For longer than he'd care to admit, Sota Aoki (Shunsuke Michieda) has had a crush on his classmate Mio Hashimoto (Riko Fukumoto). Sitting next to her in class every day, Aoki wishes he could find a way to tell her how he feels but something keeps holding him back. Despite being unable to confess his feelings, he's at least able to talk to her about other, simpler things. He's even occasionally borrowed school supplies from her, which is why he didn't think twice about asking to borrow an eraser from her when he found himself needing one during class one day.
Little did Aoki know that borrowing one simple eraser would change his life forever. Noticing Hashimoto had written something on the eraser he'd borrowed, Aoki is devastated to find that she had written "Ida-kun". Crushed by the realization that she has absolutely no romantic interest in him, Aoki finds himself so flustered that he accidentally drops the eraser. Much to his horror, the very same Kousuke Ida (Ren Meguro), picks up the eraser and hands it back to Aoki. Noticing his name on the eraser, Ida suddenly sees Aoki in an entirely different light.
With Ida now convinced Aoki has a crush on him and Hashimoto wanting nothing more from him than their casual friendship, Aoki has no idea what to do next. Will he be able to clear up this misunderstanding with Ida, or will he find that fate has other plans?)

This is actually the first BL i finished watching. Its funny and very informative specially in conveying messages by the actors. I just wished a season 2 and 3 for this as the noble is still running. Loking forward for Aoki and Ida's future. Acting and story line is superb!
