Murder Drones is something I respect, it's great that indie animation is going on higher leagues this year and Murder Drones is a solid contender.

Murder Drones is a great combination of genres, the dedication and soul can really be seen in the quality of the animation.

Its weakest element is how it handles its humor, Murder Drones throws too many meta jokes that none hit well, it eventually bodes the meta humor to the point where they feel forced.

While the story is solid - even with some pacing issues, it's nice to see that it's great because the team put soul and dedication to this project.

It's not a masterpiece but it is great as an original project and it's a good example for what original indie animation should be.

This is honestly one of the most impressive things I have seen on YouTube, the show is amazing while it does not appeal to everyone due to its edgy humor.

The one problem for me (and this can be just because I am dumb) is how confusing it is, in episode 6 I did not know what was going on, so I had to watch a separate lore explaining video just to get back on track, but really once you've done that it becomes clear for the last episodes.

Couldn't really make my review longer because I have said everything I wanted to say so this is basically just some filler text why are you still reading please stop.

Keep in mind that I've only watched the first 3 episodes. I don't know if they get better or worse or stay the same.

The concept of the show is really cool, and it's quite enjoyable to watch. I love the characters and their designs, and their personalities are pretty well developed. The animation is also really high quality and nice looking for an indie show.

A common criticism I've seen is of the humor. I personally like meta humor, but I do think they went a little overboard with it.

My main problem with this show is the pacing, which I've seen many other people talk about. Everything happens so fast that had to rewatch the episodes several times to fully grasp everything that happened. Some character arcs happen so fast that I really have to read into the episode to notice them. The characters swap sides so much that I have trouble figuring out whose side they're on sometimes. I have trouble figuring out the main motive of the characters, and whats supposed to be the problem at the moment.

I think this could've been avoided by either making the episodes longer, or making more episodes, but I understand that would take much more time and money.

All and all, I do think it's worth watching, but only if you are really focused and prepared to comprehend things very quickly.

Not gonna lie. Aside from the plot (which is simple yet entertaining), the quality of the animation and the voice acting (both of which are exceptional), Murder Drones scratches a unique itch of mine. It combines several genres to create a dark/horror sci-fi, with much comedy and amazing attention to detail, which left me at the edge of my seat eager for more.

The aesthetics are nice and I like it, I really like how the murder drones are almost like vampires and in a world were we get bad reboots now, this is a refreshing original IP with a good story, the acting is great, I do see hands and other things clip but I've seen much worse, otherwise, im pleased.

I like this show. Now as sombody who likes darkness its alright. Now I will start with the things I like about the show and with things I dislike

LIKES

1. Animation: they move like stop motion horror characters. So for something meant to be edgy is good. Also, I love the artstlye they went for.

2: subversions: I won't get into spoilers. But this show has a ton of subversions like the dad actually being detrimental and not misunderstood. Plus, the more lore related bits have neat twists which I think is cool.

3: The chacters are the best. They are just so charming to see on screen.

DISLIKES

1: comedy. The show is VERY meta and the comedy is not my cup of tea. And tbh it makes alot of the important moments less important. And its the main reason Its a six and not an 8

2: the dark moments just dont hit that well cause of the jokes. Its not BAD in fact I still like the seiries ether way. But if the show wants to be edgy I will mark it down.

3: also not bad but sometimes the idle movements look of and not in a good way.

In conclusion its a solid 6. I will still wach because Its charming but as an edgy show, just gives points awy for me dawg.

I quite remember when SMG4 mostly announced this mostly around 2021 and I quite watch itself the pilot episode and it's was a bit amazing in my opinion, I mostly can't wait to watch Series 1.

A fun, quirky, mindless sci fi robot comedy horror romp that almost manages to convince you that it is trying to be deep. The animation, music, and voice acting are excellent, there are plenty of creative and cool ideas, but unfortunately, when it comes to overall storytelling, it is one step forwards, four steps back for Liam Vickers.

Still, it will hopefully be a stepping stone to better, richer stories, and the amount of gained knowledge regarding 3D animation is stunning. This is one of the prettiest shows out there, and it is all indie made.

Finally, no matter what the ending is, it is good to see Liam actually end something after so many incomplete projects.

I like the show but is it going to have updates about the series and seasons or like something new characters or you know more updates of the series. And i know its from glitch and already like because of the characters of the show.

Seriously thinking about getting one of the plushies because it was just THAT amazing...

And I genuinely mean that title: I went into Murder Drones, expecting a middle-of-the-road indie show about killer robots. What I actually got is a show oozing with interesting characters, great lore/worldbuilding, beautiful animation, fantastic action sequences, great self-aware comedy, solid use of gore and psychological horror, and a never-ending sense of wanting to see more. Each episode does its job so well at not only making you laugh and keeping you at the edge of your seat, but also at keeping you intrigued for whatever is next in the future.

Murder Drones is one of the few shows out there that genuinely caught me by surprise at how great it is, and I implore more people to go ahead and seek it out. This is how indie animation should be done!

This is a visually stunning film with unique character design and creative graphics. I also really enjoyed the jokes, and one thing I appreciated was that the movie didn't rely heavily on swearing (I prefer films that avoid excessive vulgarity).

The biggest downside, however, is the storyline. If you're familiar with films that have deep character development and complex plots like *Love, Death & Robots*, *The Shawshank Redemption*, or *Apocalypto*, you might find the story here feels more suitable for teenagers who are just starting out in life and haven't yet experienced deeper, more profound themes.

There are quite a few elements like "the power of friendship" or "the power of love," which remind me of tropes often found in Japanese doujin-style works like *Naruto* or *My Hero Academia*. In short, the story feels like a missed opportunity that doesn't live up to the quality of the animation, which clearly had a lot of effort put into it.

To be honest, I was rooting for the villain, Cyn. She was crazy, strong, powerful, and smart - it was a bit disappointing to see her defeated by the cliché "power of friendship" team.

Initially, I was going to rate it 5 stars, but I lowered my rating slightly. Still, I want to support the creator because this film was made available for free on YouTube, unlike the examples I mentioned earlier that usually require payment. I've also followed Liam Vickers for quite some time now.

I hope the creator continues making beautifully animated works with deeper, more meaningful storylines in the future.

I love the way they integrate the horror with comedy and romance. Absolute must watch. You never know what might happen next as V has probably killed the evidence they needed. Trying to figure out what everything actually means let's everyone have their own personal views on it and can try understand it themselves. The animation is perfect and you can't fault it. It's perfect in every way. Honestly it's a must watch for anyone. N is so funny and wholesome and Uzi .... Ugh..... who's that again? V is just V. Nothing else to describe her. And doors NO Khan, got mixed up again. Great door knowledge. I suggest it to everyone.

Liam Vicker and Glitch Animation's "Murder Drones" is a fun and highly memorable show. It's beautifully rendered and has a distinct art style that makes the show feel unique. Plot is generally investing through episodes 1-6 admittedly falters during 7&8 in favour of action, resulting in some plot details being confusing without a wiki or a keen eye.

Character dialogue swings wildly from being high quality to insufferable, leading to episodes being alot better in memory than in reality. When it's good however like in most of episode 4, it's really investing.

Additional criticisms are that plot twist/reveals aren't given enough time to set in before the plot keeps moving, which is not good for a mystery like this. Not enough J. And not enough epilogue, maybe like a short tie in comic could fix that idk.

Criticism aside if you're a person who likes fun and unique adventures and can overlook the sometimes questionable writing; it's a great show.

I started watching this series with high expectations, but the truth is that I was a little disappointed, the only thing that stands out is the animation and the first 3 chapters, the 4 felt somewhat unnecessary, the 5 felt very filler, it is good that they explain what the Murder Drones did before, but they explained it in such a bad and boring way that I felt it was a filler chapter, Then I didn't understand anything about the 6th and in the end, instead of feeling sad for V, I felt anything but sadness.

I hope the last 2 chapters you put out are good, I'll make another more positive review.

Do I recommend this program? Yes, I'll just say that if you want to see it, don't have so many expectations.

Honestly I love murder drones a whole lot and it's honestly one of my favorite web series. The animation is amazing and gets better when new episodes release and the out of context moments are pretty fun and unexpecting, each episode the horror becomes more intense but it's not that scary either for people who get scared easily when watching horror movies. I love how much lore this series has and I especially love that everything's happening at a dead exoplanet. Each character has a fun and outgoing personality but however for the parents who just want to know if it's appropriate for their child or not here are a few things to know. #1 murder drones is a teens show it doesn't include very adult words and the worse it gets is freak and other than the first episode that says badass. #2 Its not something that a 7 year old should watch since it has a lot of violence, #3 there are some little jokes that aren't meant for children and are mostly meant for teens and adults but it's not even so serious like family guy.

Also the voice acting of the show is great you can really feel their emotions run through the animation when they speak and I really want to see more of this show hope it has a season 2 especially since there is so much mysteries to solve! Great work Glitch team for making this!

This show is a fantastic indie animation production. For a web series the production value is through the roof. The animation and visuals are just stunning. The characters, while starting off a bit shallow, are loveable and charming. The world building is fantastic. After only 4 episodes, the GLITCH team were able to create a large and expansive world with plenty of passion behind it. The plot, while a bit questionable at times with some things coming out of no where, is far from cliche. However, I personally think self-aware writing goes a bit far sometimes and despite being a comedy, I don't think the show is very funny. Despite that, I cna't give this show any less than a 10/10. There is so much love and care put into it and created by a small indie studio. This show is a breath of fresh air compared to the mass-produced coperate trash that is most modern animation, and I could not recommend it more.

So the animation is straight up GORGEOUS. The level of detail and the smooth movements of the characters is just mind blowing. You can tell gLitch poured their heart and soul into every single frame. :) It's so visually stunning that I found myself rewatching certain scenes just to admire the artwork!!

Now, I will say that Murder Drones isn't for everyone tbh. It's got a lot of violence and some pretty intense scenes, so it's definitely not a show for young kids. But for teens and adults who enjoy a good mix of dark humor, sci-fi action, and heartfelt character moments, it's an absolute must-watch (in my opinion)!

Final verdict? Murder Drones is a certified banger of a show. The animation is top-tier, the characters are unforgettable (but N is my favourite), and the story keeps you on the edge of your seat. I cannot recommend it enough. Seriously, go watch it RIGHT NOW! And while you're at it, snag some of that nice merch cuz I know I'll be adding a plushie (or two, or three lol) to my collection ASAP!!

(I think TADC is kinda overrated in opinion, too.)
