Zapada, Ceai si Dragoste

Most of the actors are not actors, but local "celebrities" cast at random. They have no clue about acting and that shows from scene 1.

The lines are awful, the jokes all follow the same high-school-kid-butchers-Tarantino format. It's also annoying to see all dialogue escalading abruptly and absurdly into extreme anger over the most unrealistic crap. Don't think this is some nicely executed absurd art film -- it's just lazy writing.

The characters are caricatures and completely unrealistic. I get that this wants to pastiche the genre, but that doesn't come across at all.

It's not a parody at anything, though it probably wants to be. It's one of the most forgettable comedies you cold watch.

Don't be fooled by the almost-passable first 5 minutes, where (depending on mood) you may come close to almost laughing.

This is bad as bad gets. You'll be sorry to waste 2 hours watching it. You're much better off browsing YouTube shorts mindlessly, the amateur humor in there is miles above this. That's saying a lot.

A lot of time was wasted on unessescery moments and i often felt that the story wasnt going forward. The humour would land on very few occasions, but even when it did you couldnt get a laugh out of it. At one moment they even maneged to copy Guy Ritchie's Snatch.

Finally a Romanian movie who is not a long depressive self pity drama only aimed to win a stupid award at Berlin or Certain Regard. It's not good but it's trying to get out from the so called "intellectual" movie making. Yes, the acting is bad but some of them are not actually actors but musicians and TV hosts. I think they had some fun. I think it can open the road for other Romanian commercial comedies. For a foreigner it means nothing. All the references are too local. But they tried. Even copying some scenes from other movies gave a bit of a different flavor to a film industry which is dry of humor.

The film lacks story, action, good acting and quality jokes. This script seems that was written by a child without any knowledge about logic and sense of humour. I barely laughed 2-3 times during the movie of Angel Popescu's remarks (Snow), but more than that I couldn't laugh.

The experience of the movie was so bad that I had to watch it in 2 rounds, a thing that never happened to me before. I felt that I lost 2 hours watching a story without a conclusion and purely pointless.

You lose your time watching it if you have some minimum understanding of cinematography and acting.

Very fun movie, I laughed a lot! Yes, the story is far too simple and and the twist at the end is really predictable and maybe the jokes won't make sense unless you're Romanian, but the movie was funny and refreshing. Indeed, it is something else than those depressing artistic films we use to make. Also, much better than Miami Bici, in my opinion.
