Milburn Morante wants the deed to Agnes Akers' farm and has grabbed it from her. This sets the old widow lady into a fatal tizzy. It's a good thing that Fearless the Noted Police Dog -- downgraded in this entry in the series from being a Famous Police Dog star -- and Doctor Dick Hatton are around to tend to her and foil Morante's nefarious scheme.
Earlier entries in the series of short subjects starring Fearless had been tongue in cheek in their details, but in this one the audience is offered a fairly straight melodrama. True, the minions of the law watch as Hatton and Fearless fight Morante and his henchmen without doing much for a while, but that's clearly intended to focus attention on the valiant pooch. It's a fairly harmless although not terribly interesting short subject, although Fearless is a handsome animal. So is Joan Meredith as the widow's daughter and love interest for Hatton.
