With the increasing wave of crime in the city, the Police Force finds itself drawn into a maze of conspiracies, masterminded by the very people charged with upholding the rule of law and order.

Detective Danso is a investigator selected to investigate the deaths of some kidnapped children. Milly Forson is a social advocate turn politician whose niece is among the dead children. Together, they uncover a sinister plot that puts government officials in league with criminal overlord, Ali Zafara. Danger abounds as the unlikely pair try to reveal the full truth, and discover just how far the plot goes.

After almost single-handedly stopping one of the biggest bank robberies in recent history, the suddenly famous DETECTIVE DANSO is promoted to head a Special Crime Unit. With no time to celebrate, he is soon thrust into his first case when the mutilated body of a teenage boy is found in an alley. A connection is made between the discovered body and the recent spike in the kidnapping of children.

Outraged by recent events, MILLY FORSON, a well-known advocate for women and children's affairs, starts to pressure the police; particularly Detective Danso and his Special Crime Unit. Despite the Detective trying his best to solve the case as quickly as possible, the kidnappings keep happening. With Milly leading the way, the public starts to turn against the police and the government. Things escalate dramatically when another body, this time a kidnapped girl, is found with signs of severe and prolonged torture. The girl turns out to be Milly's niece. In this defining moment, Milly vows to go on an all-out anti-crime war. She embarks on a media and protest crusade to put the police under public scrutiny.

While protesters take to the streets, Detective Danso's investigation leads him into the criminal underworld; specifically a criminal organisation controlled by ALI ZAFARA, an elusive criminal overlord notorious for involving children in his operations. Ali Zafara is involved in many criminal enterprises; from the selling of drugs to human and arms trafficking. His right-hand man, THE LIEUTENANT, handles the operational aspects of his criminal organisation. Unsatisfied with the slow pace of the police investigation, Milly and her team cause the arrests of many of Ali Zafara's gang-members. This infuriates him and he sets his sights on Milly.

After her personal investigations indicate the presence of many corrupt officials within the government, Milly, now popular for her firm anti-crime stance, starts a campaign to run for the presidency. She receives growing support from the public. Milly begins to work closely with Detective Danso to solve the crimes, and the net tightens around Ali Zafara and The Lieutenant. Adored by the public, Milly becomes a serious contender for the presidency and this creates concern within the criminal underworld and among the government officials implicated by her investigation.

Panicking at the idea of being caught, they order her assassination. Milly's security team is blackmailed and forced to go along with the plan. Milly Forson is assassinated while attending an important speech in front of a very large audience. Word of the planned assassination gets to Detective Danso too late. He fails to intercept the attack and ends up being implicated in the assassination. The End.
