Dying to Marry Him plays on the trope of the loving hero (Kehn) and the classical villain (Mackay) folded in with a complex and tragic past that connects them.
Nathan Kehn did a remarkable job leading this cast. Kehn, who physically resembles is a younger Chris Evans but with all charm and allure of James McAvoy, effortlessly made Jeff Dardenswick a likable character. Kehn's range is flawless as his character goes from easy-going fiance and professor to protector and eventually, determined hero.
Kehn's leading ladies Anna Marie Dobbins and Andrea Hickey, both play well off each other, which builds the love and hate relationship necessary for story building. That said, the writers missed opportunities for Macy Williams (Dobbins) and Dardenswick (Kehn) to have more meaningful scenes as a couple with impending nuptials. The writing oversight combined with Amy Mackay (Hickey) and Dardenswick's (Kehn) chemistry essentially makes you want to root for the villain.
Primarily, the trope plays out as expected, and the second half plays out the opposite of what you feel should happen, but it overall was worth watching at least once.

Lifetime movies obviously are made with limited budgets, I don't mind its a great place to find standout actors. Plot trends along the famous SWF from the 80s which is a classic, Amys character brings that SWF energy. Anyone knows an Amy knows exactly what i am talking about, Manipulative and calculating in attempt to bend the worlds will towards them. Warning If you are an Amy you may not be able to handle this movie! Macy does great at playing aloof they are the two standout characters, great plot by the writer, for originality. This is every brides worst nightmare next to being stood up. If you are a bride to be you may want to take notes, I had a few Amys in my life and its uncanny how accurate portrayed crazy this SWF brings her A game to the screen. Macy was cast great too, love her presence is unavoidable when she's on screen feel she could have had some more scenes and lines, I can see this being reworked on the big screen with the two head actresses on a big budget. It would slay, Definitely. Ill be following these two in the future. Great work Amy and Macy.
Generally, I love lifetime and LMN movies. However, it seems as of late the movies are considerably disappointing. I believe it's a combination of bad acting and lackluster storylines. This combined with the fact that nothing produced recently is unique. It seems to be the same psycho based genre that is getting very repetitious and old. It's the same theme played over and over again. This movie is so horrible it's almost comical. I've seen better acting in high school plays. I miss the days when they produced movies with well claimed actors and storylines that gripped you with terror as well as true life stories that had real substance. The storyline in this movie is a bit confusing especially surrounding the villainess. Combined this with the same old tale and boring actors who couldn't act their way out of a paper bag. If you happen upon this snooze fest, flipping the channel as fast as you can is the best advice I can offer.
So I decided to watch this one (or not watch) on the LMN Club App. This is so low budget! Terrible acting! It is completely corny! And the Jeff dude's hair....he look like he woke up like that. And not in that Beyonce kind of way! The fashions are dreadful! Did I mention that I couldn't finish the movie. If the app movies are all like this, I definitely plan on cancelling my subscription. I tried hoping it would get better but I only made it with more than an hour left of the movie. The stalker's acting is the worse in this movie. It would have been hilarious if I wasn't so disappointed with my first movie via the subscription.

Nathan Kehn reminded me of Harrison Ford as Professor Jones (in the love you eyelid clip) when the wedding planner entered the classroom. Moreover he resembles a young Robert Redford in looks and acting style. His heroic entrance in a tux near the movie's end had a sophisticated dance flare. I replayed that part several times to watch how he did this footwork with ease and style. I thought he would be excellent as James Bond. Then his perfect run up the steps looked like he was flying. It made me think of how great he would be as the next Batman or Captain America. Nathan Kehn makes this movie a must see for anyone who likes to watch undiscovered talent. Furthermore Nathan's acting talent is easily seen on his Instagram page.
