The first movie to film concurrently in both Canadian English and American English. Minor confusion among the cast led to the re-shooting of some scenes.
Filming was completed in half the planned time, so the cast agreed to shoot multiple endings. Similar to the movie "Clue", the audience sees a different ending based on when and where they see the movie. The "true" ending is to be revealed 14-Jan-2025.
A sequel ("Clüsterfünke St. Patrick's Day") is in pre-production, with additional draft scripts centering on different holidays.
The running gag about not being able to find coffee was not originally planned. Supply-chain issues following the 2020 COVID pandemic meant that no coffee was available in the greater-Vancouver area during filming.
No real owls were harmed in the making of the movie.
