I watch all types of horror , and this popped up on my Amazon movies I would like. I unfortunately paid the 6.99 to watch it. 1st attempted I fell asleep 12 minutes in 2nd time same scenario 3rd and last time I watched it I turned it off 1/2 way through. Between the Jenky acting, the " hellraiser pinhead one liners they blatantly ripped off,and the spirit Halloween special effects. I couldn't take it. This reminded me of a SCY-FY channel late night movie but worse! Save your time and money and pass on this one. The main characters make up is basically two masks on top of each other with oversized "hulk toy" fists.
Algea are Greek gods of sorrow and pain. What this movie does with that is pretty clever. We all have demons, and in this cold world, people rarely are forced to face their own. What if.....instead of death row, the most horrible criminals are sent to be judged by an ancient deity called Algea in a hell-like place.
The 7th terrace.....Algea's playground. If you've hurt good people willingly, if you've caused others needless pain, Algea will find a way to make you pay tenfold. But if you're innocent and wrongly convicted, he'll find that out also. You can't fool a god; he is a lie detector test and executioner all in one. So what would this look like in our justice system?
This movie is really beautifully done but also makes you think long after it's done. A+ on the cinematography, performances, and direction. Really atmospheric and darkly haunting also. Looking forward to seeing it again.

Sometimes you see a movie so bad that you wonder who actually thought it would be a good idea to make.
Ordinarily, I just ignore those. But sometimes you happen to look one of those movies on IMDB, and see that it has more fake positive reviews than any other movie you've ever seen. And then it inspires me to want to leave an honest review. That's this one.
Wooden acting, the cheapest possible production values, a "plot" (barely) that seems like it was written by a 12-year-old, this film is missing virtually everything that might make a film worth watching.
If only they'd spent money on actors, writing, and production instead of on fake IMDB reviews, this movie might have been only bad and not totally, offensively bad. And I wouldn't have felt a civic duty to point out just how fake so many of these reviews are.
