In real life, Mark Duplass (Pete) is married to Katie Aselton (Jenny), although Jenny is married to Kevin on the show.
In season one, episode six, "The Shiva Bowl", when Ruxin's (Nick Kroll's) car gets towed, the building in the background is Paddy's Pub from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005), another FX show.
