I have really liked this series. It is well written, acted (the main roles) and directed.

Unfortunately, not the same can be said of the production. It is basically all filmed in the house, Gianicolo/Monteverde and the sets of the dreams are just black voids.

Whoever is the composer should be ashamed of himself: the main theme is so awful that could belong to 80s Italian sitcoms and all other themes are blatant plagiarisms of Joe Hisaishi's scores for Kitano's movies (Brother and especially The Summer of Kikujiro).

Anyway, I really liked the series and I really hope in more seasons.

Loved this serie. Humour, fun , great play... the characters... It makes you happy , feel good.

I m waiting for season 2. Hope it will come soon.

Some good actors show up, and Verdone enjoys the play.

Unfortunately one of the series' announced goals - "Verdone senza personaggi" - is fatally missed: from characters to tone, everything replicates Verdone's past works, leaving a sense of complacency that's not comedic at all.

Watch it if you love Verdone&romanesco. Otherwise skip it without remorse.
